McKenney Photography is a family owned studio located in Biddeford Maine. Opening in 2002, McKenney Photography has become Southern Maine's premiere photography studio. Joe was born and raised in Biddeford, and graduated from Biddeford High School in 2001. Joe then attended the Hallmark Institute of Photography graduating with honors in 2002.
This is certainly the most frequently asked question I receive. And it is a great question because it can have a large impact on your portraits and how comfortable you are having them taken. In general, you should dress in casual clothes that are comfortable and cool. Shorts, slacks, sun dresses, and light weight tops all work well.
If you're shooting with another person, make sure your outfits complement one another's. Choose a consistent color palette (which does notmean the samecolor). If someone is wearing a bold pattern, dress the rest of the group in more solids, but be sure each carries one or more colors from the "star" outfit for consistency.

Joe takes the team photos for Biddeford Little League and does a wonderful job! This year, I was unable to make the photos and as the coach that didn’t feel right. I recently inquired about having our wedding photography done through McKenney photography. I went to Highschool (many moons ago) with the owner/head photographer and had seen him around town doing several sports teams pictures.
I met with the photographer on a week night and my fiancé and I were very pleased with how he presented himself. We e-mailed the next day saying we'd like to give him a deposit within a few weeks and get the ball rolling.
A few weeks later, I reached out to him and never heard back. I wrote back a couple of weeks after that and he claimed he never got the e-mail
