Spokane orthodontist, Dr. Ralph, was raised in Post Falls, Idaho after his father retired as a colonel from the U.S. Air Force. He has a passion for practicing orthodontics in an upbeat way that makes it fun for all involved: patients, staff, and parents! Dr. Ralph loves working as an orthodontist in both of his offices - Liberty Lake and Spokane - because of the variety of people those offices attract.
After graduating as valedictorian from Lakeland High School, Dr. Ralph began his college career at the University of California, San Diego (Revelle College). He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in chemistry. He continued at the University of Michigan, where he graduated the valedictorian of his dental school class and later earned a Master of Science degree in orthodontics.

At our orthodontic practice, we work hard to treat our patients the same way we would like to be treated: with respect, professionalism, and sensitivity toward their needs. An important part of our practice is serving others. We do this in many ways, including yearly staff activities that result in donations to such worthy causes as Second Harvest Food Bank, Teen Closet, and Toys for Tots. On a personal level, Dr. Ralph supports local schools with donations, and he always tries to help patients with their own community service projects, such as volunteer trips to less fortunate parts of the world.

Mom’s beware, their appointment schedules are not accommodating for kids for before and after school. It is very hard to get in. They are closed multiple weeks during Christmas when kids are off. Been a patient there for my daughter’s braces. On our last appointment I could not get in for almost 2 months. I asked Dr Ralph if my daughter was ready to get her braces off and he made a snarky remark saying if you would have brought her in earlier she would be ready yet they had no openings.

I am at the end part of my orthodontic treatment plan and I highly recommend Dr Scott Ralph Orthodontics for all ages young and old and in between. My daughter also went through a treatment plan with Dr Ralph and I was so pleased with her results I decided to get my teeth and bite alignment corrected as well.
