Elm Square Oyster Co. is a fun, fresh, and exciting restaurant serving brilliantly creative seafood and American dishes. The focus is on local and seasonal ingredients which our chef Michael Sherman artfully and tastefully blends to create ESOC's interpretation of "New" New England cuisine. We are a scratch kitchen, making all of our sauces, seasonings, and condiments from scratch.
Everything from the ketchup to the ground beef, soups to sea salt is made in-house. We work closely with local fishermen, farmers, distillers and brewers to provide a unique dining experience for our guests. It is this attention to quality and detail that earned us the. Behind the bar, we embrace everything that is great about American craft beverages.

Services
Exceptional service is our commitment to every guest. We are beyond grateful for our entire talented and dedicated staff who help deliver not only fabulous food and drinks, but an overall unique and memorable experience every time you chose to dine with us. Michael Sherman grew up with a love for food and a certain fascination with the restaurant industry.
Chef's choice $1.49 oysters on the half-shell from 5-7PM with your choice of 3 house-made sauces. Abigail Pearls are actually from the same seeds as Nonesuch Oysters. However they are grown very differently (suspended in the water versus free range on the bottom of the ocean). This produces a smooth, delicate meat and a sometimes snow white shell.
We are located in downtown Andover, Massachusetts on the corner of Main Street and Post Office Avenue in the historic Musgrove Building at Elm Square. We are across from the Memorial Hall Library. There is on-street parking on Main Street, Central Street, Elm Street and ample parking at several town municipal lots.

Great local food, atmosphere and people. We like sitting at the bar with Colin tending, but if you prefer tables, outdoor or cozy high tops, all are available and each has their own vibe.
The menu is always changing a little, with some core items remaining. Recently we’ve enjoyed smoked carrots w/goat cheese, deviled eggs, cheese boards, burgers, roasted chicken, sirloin, a fantastic mushroom soup and more I can’t remember right now. I’m not an oyster person, but have seen many people enjoying them here.
Great cozy and classy environment, excellent service and continually innovative menu

Good not great.
Oysters are full price but pretty good. Service wasn't slow.
Deviled eggs were great, muscles were ok, lacking flavor altogether.
Bread was great.
Drinks are hard to mess up so those beers were good.
Waiter was great and attentive.
We didn't order a entre based on the apps we got beforehand.
Maybe next time.

Come for the reasonably priced oyster happy hour, stay for the delicious cocktails, tasty full menu, and great service! It’s great coming here after a long day at work to relax on the nice patio during warm months, and the dining room is also classy and cozy. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Andover.

First time there, sat at the bar, the bartender was friendly and attentive. Ordered drinks and appetizers, they were both perfect. The dinner was also top notch, I had the halibut, and it was fresh and cooked to perfection. The place was hopping busy and the service was still spot on, I will definitely add this to my go to places. Cheers.
