Paul & Associates Law Firm
We offer our clients prompt, friendly, respectful and professional legal representation in three fields of law. We understand that the immigration system is broken, yet we find ways to help you move forward in your process of immigration. If you have been arrested and charged with a crime, it is time to call for a lawyer.

Drugs, DUI's or even criminal charges, we have the experience to get you the best results possible. Like most businesses, we soon expanded and operated with 4 to 5 attorney associates for a few years. However, in 1999, we came to realize that bigger was not necessarily better, and that we would best serve our clients by focusing on personal service and offering them a boutique style of legal services.

Immigration law refers to national government policies controlling the immigration and deportation of people, and other matters such as citizenship. Immigration laws vary from country to country, as well as according to the political climate of the times, as sentiments may sway from the widely inclusive to the deeply exclusive of new immigrants.
How to apply for an Investor Visa is a question we are asked on a regular basis. The Investors Visa is also known as an EB-5 Immigrant Visa. Obtaining an EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa is not an easy job as there are only 10.000 Visa's available each year. The visa gives foreign investors the opportunity to invest in companies or projects in the U.S. that create jobs within the United States.
The L1 visa is a non-immigrant visa which allows companies operating both in the US and abroad to transfer certain classes of employees from its foreign operations to the USA operations for up to seven years. The L-1 category is available for all businesses ranging from multinational concerns over small and medium-sized enterprises to family-owned enterprises.
If you are a U.S. citizen, you can bring your fianc(e) to live in the U.S. before you get married. You must show that you intend to marry within 90 days of your fianc(e) entering the United States. Your fianc(e)'s children can also be included in the petition and will receive a derivative visa. After the marriage, your fianc(e), now your spouse, will apply for adjustment of status and become a permanent resident (green card holder).
A U.S. citizen may petition for certain family members, relatives or future relatives such as a fiance or a prospective adopted child to receive either a green card, a fiance visa or a K-3/K-4 Visa based on your relationship. A Lawful Permanent Resident (green card holder) can petition for family members to receive green cards and immigrate to the United States as permanent residents.
