Portraits preserve the memories of these special people in a tangible way. I cherish the wedding portrait of my grandmother that was made over ninety years ago.
I enjoy looking at the baby portraits of my children every day. This is largely why I entered into the profession of capturing memories for others. I have had a lifelong interest in photography, beginning with the photography club in high school. After a circuitous route through the fields of chemistry and public health, I returned to my passion.

My goal is to provide each of my clients with high quality, beautifully finished portraits that will become family heirlooms, to be viewed and treasured by generations. I meticulously edit and hand-retouch each image in your gallery, and use the highest quality materials for your prints, canvases and albums.
Your headshot session includes up to one hour of photography and one retouched finished image. Additional images are available for purchase. The Executive headshot session includes up to two hours of photography, multiple outfits and eight retouched finished images. The Branding photography session is perfect for professionals and entrepreneurs.

I had wanted some new photos of myself that truly reflected who I am today – and that's what I got from Eventide Photography. (Selfies just aren't the same!) Susan was fantastic in every way. She is a creative and dedicated photographer with broad knowledge of her craft. She took her time and skillfully took photos from many angles and with a variety of lighting to best enhance my business photo. Susan is the best. Very professional and timely. As for the photos, they were just what I wanted in terms of photos for work and social media use. She was quick and knows what she is doing and it all couldn't have been easier. At the same time, she is a pleasure and couldn't have been more flexible with her time. As for pricing, I think more than fair especially for the quality. I saw her other work and will certainly circle back with other requests. I highly recommend.

Susan was fantastic to work with and did an unbelievable job with my headshots. Personally, I have never loved having my picture taken, but she made the process easy and was able to get some great shots that made it hard to choose which I liked best. She setup her equipment in my home, was quick and efficient with the shoot, and had proofs back to me within a few days. Wonderful experience and fantastic final pictures.

She was able to take a combined family of 4 adults and three children ranging in ages from 18 months to 7 years and guide everyone with warmth and grace to the vision she had for our photo shoot. Having my picture taken by Susan was a professional and efficient experience. She put me at ease very quickly and guided me through several different poses and expressions, in order to get the perfect shot. After all photos were taken, I was allowed to go through the photos on the spot to choose the picture that I would most like for my official headshot. The ability to do that instantly left me very pleased. Overall, it was a perfect experience of a normally stressful activity.

Susan is such a kind and encouraging photographer! I had never had a professional headshot taken of me before, so I didn't quite know what to do or expect.
