Whether you're in the mood for a cold beverage, a delicious pizza, or steak & lobster, the Green County House has it all!. The Green County House was built in 1864 and since then has gone through many exciting changes and additions. Jim Doyle "Bullet" and his wife, Kay, ran the establishment as a bar with bands on the weekends starting in 1979.
In 1981 they introduced food to the bar and two years later, opened a full sit-down restaurant that served delicious pizzas, sandwiches, and appetizers. The bands on the weekends weren't as popular anymore so they turned the bar area into an Irish theme and named it Doyle's Irish Pub. There was still an open space on the 2nd level, and in 1987, Jim and Kay decided to open it up for fine dining and private parties.

Their salad bar is wonderful! Our table of 4 all ordered the prime rib which was tender and flavorful! We all added a lobster tail which was done perfectly! This is a great local restaurant. The owner came to check on us. I personally enjoyed my hasbrowns but the twice baked potatoes might be something I'll try next time.

And why I haven’t tried pizza here before? I probably didn’t think I would be so delighted with it. My favorite is Cheeseburger, but if you order it on a thin crust ( what I like more) then the vegetables on a separete plate . I also come to Bullet's specially for Fillet Mignon ( medium rare) with twice baked potato. The food is delicious, the cocktails are strong and the staff are friendly. Working 7 days a week! Love this place

This is one of our favorite places! On Weds night they have BOTH weekend specials of fish & prime rib available!! Both of these are incredible from here. Plus you’re can get twice baked potato for your side! They also have the best thin crust pizzas and a fantastic French dip that their great curly fries go perfectly with.

We've gone back for the Prime Rib, it is so tender and full of flavor. The best we've had in a long time. The 23oz-er leaves plenty for Sunday morning breakfast!!
