Services
RTS Physiotherapy was created to help the active population who require assistance for maintenance or minor recovery to major pathologies. We specialize in and have experience in working with athletes from youth to the professional level. Our passion is helping those who are committed to improving their body and staying active.
The Return to Sport program is for anyone, whether recreationally all the way to professionally, who wants to return to their desired sport bigger, faster, and stronger than they were prior to the injury. Most importantly, this program has specific components in place that will help to ensure that the likelihood of this injury reoccurring again in the future is as low as physiologically possible.
Spinal Manipulation is not only safe when performed by a medical professional, it is also a first line of treatment for many dysfunctions. Our Doctors of Physical Therapy are taught by the Spinal Manipulation Institute lead by Dr. James Dunning, PT. These techniques can are typically not painful and allow for improved range of motion.
Dry Needling can be used to treat muscles, ligaments, tendons, subcutaneous fascia, scar tissue, peripheral nerves, and a variety of neuromusculoskeletal pain syndromes (Dunning et al., 2014). Dry Needling has been shown to improve pain control, reduces muscle tension, normalizes biochemical and electrical dysfunction of motor endplates, and facilitates an accelerated return to active rehabilitation APTA.
Mobilization with Movement is typically how our therapists see lasting results with patients. The technique allows the movement or joint to restore full pain-free range of motion. With this technique, the therapist will apply a passive accessory joint mobilization while the patient performs the painful movement.

10/10 for RTS! I’m 16 and came in with knee injuries that prevented me from running and I had pain even walking to my classes. I had tried other physical therapists and doctors before I found RTS but no one could seem to fix my knees. Losing hope my mom found RTS and I decided to give physical therapy one last try. Dr. Parrish and the whole RTS team was very supportive and helped me get back to my A game as soon as possible! I loved that it was one on one when I went in and that I was able to reach out when I needed even if I was in class having pain. Their app allowed me to stay on track and

Jake and Jordan are a husband and wife Physical Therapy team that did a fantastic job helping rehabilitate my shoulder that would easily become dislocated from simple activities. I couldn't even reach behind my back, stretch, do a pull up, and many more activities due to the risk of dislocation. Jake helped rehabilitate my shoulder back to a place where i no longer have to worry about it dislocating. In fact, even residual pain has vanished that persisted for years! Would 100% recommend anyone utilize their services to get back your mobility!

Jake was able to take care of my hips, back, shoulder and legs. In addition, he was able to recommend exercises that allowed me to return to exercise pain free. The improvement from session to session is incredible.

Just want to thank the team at RTS for helping with my shoulder, neck and back pain. 4 dry needling sessions w stim and 5 weeks later, I feel a lot better and empowered with the knowledge to keep improving. There's no magic pill. It's been a combination of therapy and exercises outside of my sessions. Not quite 100% yet but feel 1000x better and can actually get good sleep again. Thx guys!

I have a severe shoulder pain where I can't perform any vertical pushing movement. I went to a different location for therapy through my insurance for about 2 months, I made no progress. I've been to ONLY two sessions at RTS Physiotherapy and I have made so much progress. The service is phenomenal. They use manipulation, dry needling, stem, cupping , and scraping. There is no time wasted, they really want you to RETURN TO SPORTS! Would definitely recommend.

Dr Jake & Jordan will take great care of you! I have been dealing with neck and knee issues since 2015. I have seen other PT's and chiropractors. Nothing ever helped or got better. These guys took the time to figure out the issues. We did a lot of mobility work, trigger point work, dry needling, and some adjustments. You aren't just a number to them. They thoroughly care and that's how you grow a successful business!

This is the best place to get therapy for your body. I workout 6 days a week and this is what keeps me doing that. Can't recommend them more!

Thank you thank you thank you! Ive had constant back pain for years. But really brought me to them was a minor shoulder injury of mine... Their knowledge of shoulder exercises combined with the dry needling technique fixed my shoulder and have never felt as strong as i do now.

But lets talk about what really impressed me... when i was brought to the weight room for my shoulder exercises, my PT Jordan, corrected my whole body form. Long story short... I was moving and lifting the wrong way which was the reason for my back pain. Jordan's knowledge of how the body works and should function

As a physical therapist and an owner of a physical therapy practice I know and have seen the vast differences in the quality of care given by physical therapists. In my opionion, RTS provides the highest quality of care a patient can receive and are the ones I turn to for care for myself, my loved ones, and patients of mine that travel to the Scottsdale area.

Jake and Jordan aren't just doctors of physical therapy. They're also Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialists. Less than 5% of physical therapists have this certification. What does that mean for you? They have the tools

I had a fantastic experience at RTS. I’ve been having knee pain for several years, which by overcompensation caused pain in my lower back and several other areas. Other treatments have not worked for me. My PT at RTS, Jordan, was great to work with. I haven’t felt this great in awhile. Would definitely recommend RTS!!!

RTS helped me while dealing with a disc herniation after a car accident. Their hands on skills helped ease my muscle tension from whiplash and they taught me valuable exercises towards my active recovery. Thanks to RTS, I am back playing recreational sports, hiking, and living life pain free! I recommend RTS to all my friends and family.
