In February of 2004 we installed a crematorium to better serve our cremation families. We now do all cremations in our facility, saving transport to another location for this service. Staff members are active in many civic organizations in the area, including Lions, Rotary, Moose Lodge, Masons, Ruritan, and Chamber of Commerce.

Whether you are preplanning for yourself or choosing for a loved one, casket selection is a very personal decision and an expression of your feelings. After cremation you may elect to have your remains interred in an urn. There are many styles and materials of urns available, ranging from solid marble or stone, cast metal or sheet metal, to elegant wood. Jimmie is our President and General Manager and has been in funeral service since 1971. He was born and raised in South Hill.

Crowder Hite Crews Funeral Home is above and beyond. During hard times, they make it easy and comfortable. Everyone there is exactly where they are meant to be. They all helped every step of the way with so much compassion. I could never thank them enough. I was in a situation where there was nothing pre planned. They made it easy and helped me understand the entire process.
