Urban Eden Skin & Body Care products were created by Cheryl Swade, a licensed Aesthetician and former buyer for a Natural Pharmacy. I want to retain my own youthful appearance and I was unimpressed with the natural skincare products on the market. Because I couldn't find a natural, effective, quality skincare product line at a reasonable price, that truly made a difference in my skin or the skin of my clients.
Committed to only using ingredients that help restore your skin to its healthiest state, we meticulously research every single element to ensure all skin types are able to directly benefit from the integrity of our formulations - producing truly effective results. We make our selections based on biocompatibility, rather than choosing ingredient's for their synthetic or natural status.
Finding out your particular skin type matters-because every product you use on your face should be tailored to the type of skin you have. So before you pick your products, we thought you might like to gather some data. It just feels uncomfortable.all of the time. You may notice that your skin becomes drier the older you get. This skin fluctuation can be attributed to hormones, dehydrating products. On the more dramatic end, dry skin has a tendency to get fine lines, flaking, and red patches easily. In women of color, the skin may appear ashy or dull from dead skin buildup.
Oily skin is shiny skin, especially in the T-zone. You may have enlarged pores and may be prone to blackheads and breakouts due to the overproduction of the sebaceous (oil-producing) glands. You'll need a cleanser that can cut through the oil your skin produced overnight, so a wash with the Citrus & Apple Cleanser to balance and cleanse your skin.

The owner is rude. I don't like to write reviews like this but after reading some - she is pretty horrible, I concur with the rest of the reviews. She must be bipolar or simply self centered. Oddly strange gal. Great lil shop tho!! But unfortunate, she forgets who's feeding her mouth. Good luck running into her when she's at her shop.

After parking in a handicap parking spot because I am a disabled veteran behind the Urban Eden, the owner flies out of the store to see who was parking in "her" spot. As she glared at me I said "hello." She continued to glare at me I asked her "is there a problem?" And she replied, "I wanted to see who parked in My SPOT"." I replied back "isn't it a handicap parking?" she turned around and went back into her shop without a response. The skin care products are wonderful! My skin is sensitive and I am allergic to a lot of products! Cheryl's face wash removes eye makeup but doesn't kill my eyes! Her moisturizer really helps my skin and I use it around my eyes too! Her scrub and mask are also great! You have to try them to believe they are as good as I say they are!! I also love her local artists work !!!

This review is long overdue! A lot of little boutiques seem the same these days - that is not the case here! This eclectic little shop is downright charming and filled with all kinds of treasures (at very reasonable prices, in my opinion!). I don't think I've ever stopped here without seeing something unique that I could easily imagine in my home.
The woman who works here is very friendly and considerate; she offered me a lovely painted postcard with my purchase. I think this place is worth exploring anytime you want to find a little treasure for yourself or a loved one.

Yes, we just loved all her great accessories, ideas and the Feng shui touches. Cheryl is truly talented working in the new pieces with our current beach decor.
Made our place so much lighter and less cluttered.

Cheryl has a fantastic store across from Simmzy's on 2nd and LaVerne. We liked several items and she even brought a bunch to our townhome and staged it for us. Buught almost everything! Great eye and ideas. Worked with our existing items and created to include the ones that worked in our transition from Tommy to Beachy Elegantish. Added some forgot ingredients like metals... really came together nice, Beto happy.
