Launched in 2001, Ambiance Skin Care & Day Spa has slowly grown with its clientele over the years. It started out as a humble project by Laura Gonzalez. Over the years, Ambiance has evolved from just a 600 square foot salon to a 2,000 square foot day spa. Situated in the heart of the Belmont Heights neighborhood in beautiful Long Beach and near Vero Pilates and Scratch Baked Goods.
Sweating is the body's safe and natural way to heal & stay healthy. Sunlighten sauna detox occurs by heating the body directly increasing core temperature, resulting in a deep, detoxifying sweat at the cellular level, where toxins reside. Burn calories while you relax! As the body works to cool itself, there is a substantial increase in heart rate, cardiac output and metabolic rate, causing the body to burn more calories.
Our most popular facial. Leaves you with clean, perfectly balanced skin and a radiant complexion. Customized and recommended at any age, it centers on Yon-Ka's exclusive deep cleansing regimen. Specifically designed for you. A back facial is a spa treatment particularly suited to the return of the backless dress, the season for bathing suits and sun dresses.
This is a deep cleansing treatment that purifies, balances and clears your complexion. Blackheads and dead cells are gently removed with the professional peeling process that respects the most delicate of skins. This "clean skin" phase is followed by a long relaxing aromatic massage. Microdermabrasion treatments use a minimally abrasive instrument to gently sand your skin, removing the thicker, uneven outer layer.
Life happens and not everything can be planned, but we ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. The full amount will be charged for all appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours advance notice. In order to remain on schedule for all of our clients, we must shorten your session time if you are late for your appointment.

I went to get microblading by Brows by Samanths. Samantha did a great job on my eyebrows. I was so self conscious about them before, especially the mid section. Samantha took her time mapping out my brows to perfection. She was really sweet during the whole process and made me feel very comfortable. I left feeling super happy and confident. Would definitely recommend her to all my friends and family.

I had my first experience with sensory deprivation the other week at Ambiance Skin Care & Day Spa and it was very rewarding physically and mentally. The staff was friendly and walked me through what to expect and how it works. Everything was clean and easy. I went in with a lot of stress and muscle tension and came out refreshed and renewed. I recommend sensory deprivation and Ambiance Skin Care & Day Spa. I will be back soon.

I love Ambiance. It is such a beautiful spa, it is always a treat to go there. Laura is awesome with waxing, and Heather's massages are wonderful. They also have great gifts and products there - I have purchased beautiful candles and jewelry and am always happy with their quality. I go there regularly for waxing and book a massage whenever I can. I highly recommend it.
