Sensei Michael A. Stabile and Sensei Ginger Stabile began their training in Nihon Goshin Aikido in 1993 in Middletown, NY under Shihan Robert B. MacEwen, Jr. Shihan MacEwen, the highest ranked (Roko-Dan) practitioner and U.S. Director of Nihon Goshin Aikido Association, he has been in the martial arts for over 50 years.
Sensei Michael Stabile earned his Sho-Dan in 1997, his Ni-Dan in 2002, his San-Dan in 2006 and his Yon-Dan in 2016. Sensei Ginger Stabile earned her Sho-Dan in 1999, her Ni-Dan in 2003, her San-Dan in 2008 and her Yon-Dan in 2016. Their school is the oldest Nihon Goshin Aikido school outside the New York, New Jersey area.

Services
Nihon (Japanese) Goshin (Self-Defense) Aikido (the way of Harmony) was founded by Master Shodo Morita in Hokkaido, Japan. Soke (founder) Shodo Morita was a student of Sokaku Takeda and Yoshida Kitaro in Daito Ryu Aiki Jiu-Jitsu. Master Kitaro also trained in his family's system of self-defense. In addition to training in Daito Ryu, Master Morita trained in Judo, Kodudo(weapons), Karate, and the esoteric arts.
Black Belt & Advanced Classes are for students who have obtained the rank of San-Kyu (Green Belt) and above. Black Belt & Advance Class will be held on the last Friday of each month. You may only miss one (1) class per year as a Black Belt and two (2) a year as an Advanced student remain eligible for promotion to the next rank.
If you wish to have a Seminar with Sensei Stabile at your Dojo or yours please contact the Dojo for more information. We can also come to your Church, School or place of Work and hold a 3 to 4 hour Self Defense Class. Call for more information. We can put a Class together just for you and your group.
Sensei Michael A. Stabile is the Head Instructor at the Aikido School of Self Defense in Conyers, Covington, Georgia area and is ranked a Yon-Dan (Fourth Degree Black Belt) in Nihon Goshin Aikido. He opened the Dojo in December of 1997. His goal is to spread the teaching of Nihon Goshin Aikido under the direct supervision of Shihan Robert B. MacEwen, Jr. and Shihan Richard A. Bowe.

This is the best we have found for our children. It really teaches so much more than self defense. Our children are as follows 4 year old girl, 7 Year old girl and 8 Yr old boy. Since starting Aikido about a month ago is seems they all have grown in responsibility, courage, and independence. They also do better as a team and solving… problems on their on. It has really been shocking to see them go from playing video games to doing front roll flips and blocking attackers. Almost makes me wanna join. Lol ALMOST. The instructors know exactly what they are doing and take pride in what they are
