MORI FURNITURE DESIGN was established back in 2004 by Tom Diess & Chris Connors, the owners of Walnut Street Woodworks, Inc. A line of furniture with a nod to the great George Nakashima, where large solid wood slabs take center stage was the theme. After the first few years of strictly solid slab pieces, Tom began to designing pieces based on his love for mid century modern furniture and Mori took yet another turn.

Today the Mori Furniture line consists of both, and custom pieces are always an option as well. The new shop is a smaller operation than back on Walnut St, with a focus on free standing furniture.
Services
We made six of these tables for the various waiting areas at a large accounting firm in the Denver Tech Center. These work stations as well as a matching conference table were designed by Semple Brown here in Denver for Mile Hi Modern realty group. We matched colors on the wood as well as the steel.
I am always working.always. When I am not working on commissioned pieces, I work on designs & ideas of my own, so there is always something for sale somewhere. Right now I have a new gallery space at 800 S. JASON ST. in Denver. The space is not currently manned, so BY APPOINTMENT ONLY PLEASE, but give me a call and I can show you around.
If you would like a budget estimate for a project you have in mind, fill in your contact information along with a description of the project. Be as detailed as possible. No detail is too minute. Nothing here is pre made or mass produced, so everything comes down to materials and man hours.

Typical details would include: Dimensions, materials, Finishes (matching the look of an existing piece), moving parts, desired completion date, etc. Upon receipt of your info.
