The story of Dental Support Specialties begins in August of 2006 when company founder Mary Beth gave birth prematurely to a baby girl after only 25 weeks' gestation. As her daughter Alison reached her 1 year milestone, it became apparent that she would need extra care in the form of occupational, physical, and speech therapy to help compensate for the prematurity.

The BEST virtual support company in the dental field. They are often copied, never reproduced. No one does more for their clients than DSS. Mary Beth and team are so knowledgeable in running your practice I’m not sure how they do it.

The worst service ever!
Called this company to find out about call answering services for my dental client. I was told that a sales rep would call. I did not receive a call - so I emailed the company.
This is my exact email: "I phoned last week - and no one ever called me to schedule a call. This does not reflect well on your service if I am prospect and no one calls me back. I can only imagine that your level of service declines after we give you money."
The response I got was that I received an email (which went to my spam) and that I should click on link and schedule online.

We’ve used DSS many times over the years. It’s so comforting to know that there is a company out there who can help run our FD when we need it. There are other people who think they can do remote work like this, but no one does it like Mary Beth and Joe’s company. I NEVER worry about our practice when DSS is on the case for us, and that means a lot coming from me because I don’t trust just anyone-especially someone who thinks they can do this sort of business from their bedroom. Great service, Samantha and everyone at DSS was a huge help while I transitioned from losing my only front desk receptionist to hiring someone new. Our patients didn't even notice that it wasn't us. ... We did have one small glitch with their "portal", and Mary Beth, the Boss, was communicating directly with me to fix it right away. Very good company, :)

DSS is running my entire front office remotely for almost a year! It is a small practice, but they do everything better than when I had actual front desk staff. Most of my patients do not mind that there is no one at the front as all their questions are answered via email and phone before/after the appointment. I couldn't be happier!

My experience with DSS has been very good. They work hard for their clients and really strive to exceed all expectations. Their fees make sense and are reasonable.
