I absolutely love this hotel. It almost feels like Disney property with the way the landscape is perfectly manicured. The staff is consistent which is great because they are all so kind and wonderful so it's nice seeing the same friendly faces, visit after visit! The breakfast is unbeatable! The baked goods are delivered nightly so they are incredibly fresh. Clean rooms which are currently under renovation and we love the pool area too. While our primary goal is Disney it's so nice having a place that feels like "home away from home"

An excellent motel. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Lots of amenities. Continental breakfast is the best I've had at a motel/hotel. Food is very fresh and plentiful, and constantly being refilled. Free shuttle to (on every hour and half hour) and from Disneyland (on every fifteen and forty-five minute of the hour), starting a half hour before the park opens, to forty-five minutes after it closes. Lastly, the staff is friendly, helpful and responsive.

They were very gracious abut letting us check in early on a weekday before Christmas. Front desk staff was pleasant and professional. Rooms were clean an came with a refrigerator but no microwave. Buffett breakfast was nice with more than your average hotel offering. The shuttle made things much easier. I would definitely stay here again.

What an adorable hotel :)
Not candy cane themed really but has a old school charm about it!
Check in was fast and easy, we were assigned to a standard room with 2 "queens" in the middle of the complex on right side facing pool
Note to peeps there are no elevators as I saw only stairs so pack light with luggage
Parking is free and not too hard to find you have to display a parking permit on your dash don't forget!
Only one star off as it was advertised as 2 queens but def felt like 2 full beds as my bf and I sleep on a queen and it definitely didn't feel as spacious

My family has been staying at this hotel for years. I have always had a wonderful stay here. Now that my husband and I go to Disney we stay here.
Pros
Excellent Service (Front Desk & Shuttle Drivers)
Quiet
Complimentary Breakfast
Shuttle Service to the parks
Clean Rooms
Mini Fridge
Cons
Old decor and tech
Lack of variety/availability in rooms
"Rate Code" problem *
*At times the websites automatically puts in a promo for a rate for your stay. However when you stay at the hotel it won't allow the rate unless you are a member for various programs. However, if you stay twice within

This review is for the regular rooms at Candy Cane Inn. Here's some highlights of the property/stay:
Pros:
+ Fridge in-room. Good for your drinks!
+ TV in the room is small, however, it has a decently surprising amount of stations that are good. We were impressed with the image quality and the amount of channels.
+ iHome alarm clock with (2) USB charging ports on the nightstand
+ Shuttle to and from the park is great to have! They leave the Inn on the hour and half hour (i.e. - 7:00am, 7:30am, 8:00am, 8:30am, etc.). They leave the park on the :15 and :45 of the hour. This schedule was very

Above and beyond.
Back when it was just expensive, we used to stay at Grand Californian. After it hit nutty price, we stayed off site, mostly at Desert Inn. To change it up, we decided to try Candy Cane Inn to see if it lived up to its positive reviews.
It really did.
Clean and comfortable with helpful staff, continual shuttles to and from Disneyland, free breakfast by the pool that blows away Desert Inn and an overall terrific place to stay. We were very impressed and now Candy Cane Inn is our go to place to stay when we visit Disneyland.

Five star reviews are rare and I hesitate to leave this 5 star review because I don't want the secret to get out about the Candy Cane Inn.
The staff is top notch; courteous, friendly, kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. This combination is incredibly rare and is greatly appreciated.
The grounds are beautiful and tasteful. Flowers, trees, a pool and hot tub, and parking is right in front of your room. Nice places to sit and chat outside in the sun or shade.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and the showers have excellent water pressure. The towels are soft

I have stayed here so many times in the past 21 years that I have lost track! The Candy Cane Inn has never let me down either. I mean my kids grew up staying here practically every time we went to Disneyland. The few times we didn't stay there was due to late planning on my part. It's always so convenient that it is located right down the street from Disneyland. It's right on Harbor Blvd so it's easy to find. It's part of the special feeling we get every time when we get off interstate 5 and head south on Harbor. It's kind of got the feeling of a second home. I have

Stayed here for one night because we had reservations for Star Wars Land two days in a row.
This hotel is located within walking distance of Disneyland so we didn't have to worry about the parking lots getting full even though we're AP holders.
Upon arrival, the staff were very friendly. The room was spotless although I was surprised that we had a fridge but no microwave. The beds were comfortable and I'm always hesitant about staying in hotels because of bed bugs but I had no worries here.
We took the shuttle to the parks but I think it's about the same amount of time waiting

We loved this hotel my family and I stayed here during a trip to Disney Land. The hotel was affordable...clean...and I always felt safe.
The staff is super friendly just like the Disney customer service you get at the parks and restaurants in property.
Very very close to Disney Land and California adventure.
I deff recommend this hotel to anyone going to Disney Land

I have been staying at the Candy Cane Inn for about 3 years now and have always LOVED it but my husband & I recently experienced a SAFETY HAZARD which we would like to bring to everyone's attention.
I can't believe I've never written a review about this little hotel since we've been coming here often. Ever since a jeweler, whose daughter worked at the Grand Californian, recommended it, this place has been our go-to when not staying at a Disneyland Resort.

Thanks and the five stars first go to Yelp and the wonderful reviews I read about this clean and reasonably priced Inn. That is how I discovered this oasis in overwhelming Anaheim, California.
Disneyland accommodations by any standards are overpriced and can be a stressful selection process . Then there is the problem of parking, food and the rest.
Candy Cane Inn has modern and CLEAN rooms. Each room contains Microwave, Fridge and Coffee maker. The staff go out of their way to make you feel very welcome (see Olivia Below). The breakfast by the pool is more than adequate combination of cereal

We had a great two night stay at the Candy Cane Inn! The staff was super friendly, and did their best to accommodate an early check in for us, which we appreciated after a long flight from the east coast. They also gave some good restaurant recommendations for while we waited.
This place is no luxury hotel; however, it is a great price for the location and for what you get. It's a really easy walk to Disneyland, without crossing any busy roads (ideal for young children). The rooms are clean, and there are a lot of staff who work hard to make sure everything is taken care of. The only small

I've been staying at the Candy Cane Inn for 25+ years and they NEVER let us down. The rooms are incredibly clean and believe me, I look in every corner. Beds are soooo cozy , no comforters and the double-sheet blanket is perfect. The AC isn't noisy and sleep is good here. :-)
By the way, why wouldn't you pay $20-30 more for a Premium room? The room is larger, fridge, microwave, free DVD rentals, FREE BREAKFAST delivered to your room in the morning at a time you choose... a nice popcorn bucket full of goodies when you get there, and a 2pm checkout time? It's a no-brainer

I have always wanted to stay in this hotel. First when I was a kid because of the name. Then as an adult because it looks like such a quaint motel.
We were here for two nights this week. Office staff was nice. Pleased with the free bksft. Rooms were clean. All rooms I must add are getting new mattresses right now. Do you know how awesome it feels to know you were the first one on a new motel mattress?! So fresh and clean.
The location is great. Right behind Cars Land in Disney CA. There is an easy walk to the park, but the hotel still offers a free shuttle.
We will probably stay

Candy Cane Inn will always give me nostalgia. I stayed here many, many times when I was a kid with my family and every so-often when we make a trip to Disneyland or visiting the Anaheim area.
The location is great for those visiting the theme park. It's about a 10-12 minute walk to the park entrance. The rooms are decent-sized, clean and the overall Inn is family-friendly. The cost is reasonably priced, however its not the cheapest, but compared to many of the other motels/hotels within the block, it's definitely worth checking. They do offer continental breakfast (bagels, toast, eggs
