We have used this company many times and had great service . Today, we were to be picked up at 6:40 am, at 6:50 am we called Harry and it was obvious we woke him up. He said he would call back in 5 minutes after he called the driver. 10 minutes later he still had not called back, so we called him. He said he had an issue with the SUV and asked if we could find another ride!!! Who were we supposed to get at the last minute???Needless to say we had to drive ourselves and will now be paying about $500 in parking fees. We will never use this company again!!!!

I had an early monring domestic flight from SFO connecting to international flight at SeaTac.
Come travel day, no confirmation. 30 min before my start time, I call them and all I heard was the yarn of a person, supposedly the owner. He lied saying that the driver was on the way.
Long story short, 30 min AFTER the scheduled start time, he canceled saying his driver was sick. Here I am, no uber, no friends, no alternative - all because it was so early in the morning.
No apologies. no compensation. Nothing.
Will never deal with these idiots again.

We have been using Newstar for years with no problems until this last trip.
They used to give email confirmations the day before the trip confirming an earlier booking and giving the drivers name and contact phone number and a text on our phone from the driver when they arrived.
We had a trip from SJ to SFO and return booked 2 weeks later at $120 each way. This time around we had no confirmation and the driver on the first leg was late saying he got lost on the way. This was no big deal as we had given ourselves plenty of time to get to the airport.
On the return we had a 11.45am pickup and landed

The vehicle itself was very nice, new & clean. The driver, interaction, and overall experience was one of the worst for a professional service. Driver barely spoke to me, was not adept at the car features/functions, drove fast, stopped short, unsafe lane changes, took phone calls, belched several times and had to open the window to "air out". Overall was more pre-occupied with other things of the day than driving. Was more stressful than relaxing.... I took Uber home.

Did not speak English very good at all. Did not know how to get to out destination.
Drove so bad we were singing " we're going to die, we're going to die".
Could not stay in the lane, swerving from lane to lane.
Abrupt breaking not a smooth at all!
Coming home new driver. Abrupt breaking and offered a bottle of water. My friend picked up the bottle and there was red wine in the cup holder which went all over her pants.
Driver had black pants black jacket and white shirt. Wrinkled and dirty

Excellent, professional and reliable! Had a 4:00am pickup in Santa Rosa to the Oakland airport. Driver was at our door on time and relaxing trip to catch our flight! 10 days later we had an 11:45 pm pickup at Oakland for return trip to Santa Rosa. Once again on time for our arrival.

My experience with newstar was fabulous. Navtej picked me up from SFO . Received his message as soon as I landed well advance in time.It took me an hour extra due to some luggage issues, even then he welcomed me with a warm smile dropped me to San Jose. My departure flight was from sjc and Mr Harry dropped me there, another man of interest.I acknowledge that new star crew is very professionalized helpful and friendly real models of true customer service.Their rides are clean smooth aromatic nd shiny as brand new cars.I m still struggling in finding service as theirs here in Vancouver. We used this service for the first time to go to the Grand View restaurant on Mt. Hamilton Road, so as not to have to drive down the mountain road after drinking. Harry was extremely helpful and responsive as I was making last minute arrangements from overseas. The town car was new, clean and comfortable. Our driver, Singh, was very polite, professional and competent as he negotiated the dark, mountain road to and from the restaurant...and we appreciated his dry sense of humor. Wow!! This service totally rocks!! Normally my family drives itself to and from the airport, using the extended parking lots - which subsequently is a lot a hassle between all our luggage, including a car seat, getting to and from the shuttle stops, and on and off the bus with our little one in tow.
