It's so great to meet you! I am Amanda, the lead photographer behind Amanda Collins Photography. Many people ask me how I started in the photography business. My story goes all the way back to my freshman year of high school. I joined the yearbook team, simply because my friend was taking the class too.
My teacher asked me to go take some photos of different school events. A few months later, I came home from school and my mom asked me if I liked taking pictures, and if I wanted a camera for my birthday that year. I wasn't sure why she was asking, but I said yes. Turns out my teacher thought I had 'the eye' and called her to tell her so.

Amanda is the best!! She and her husband Chandler took the most beautiful wedding photos for us (I can't stop staring at them)! She also took our engagement photos which turned out so dreamy. Everyone at our wedding was raving about how nice, sweet, helpful and fun Amanda and Chandler were. They felt like a part of the bridal party and made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. Her talent is beyond words, and the way she captures the light and gorgeous details is unmatched! We could not have asked for better photos and I highly recommend booking her for your wedding!!

Terrible service, do NOT ever purchase a gift certificate, once she has the money she puts forth zero effort to schedule an appointment. I have been trying get something on the books since October, it is now MARCH. It takes at least 2-3 messages days apart for her to “check her schedule” you must follow up again a few times before she will reply with a date, when you do get and option or two they are for times and dates that you have already told her won’t work. Fast forward to December, I get it is busy I told her I was ok to do January since she was booked up but She never replied and told

Amanda is the BEST photographer we have ever had!!! She is wonderful! She knows how to catch the right angles and ALWAYS makes everyone in the picture look good. She listens to what you want and always gets it the way you want it! Shes always happy and upbeat. When I want pictures i go to her. Cant wait till the next session we have!
