I started Integrated Counseling Solutions based on my experience integrating behavioral and emotional therapies within primary care medical teams. It just makes sense! We get better results, in less time, and have a better experience doing it. My patients and I counsel together using interventions that are rooted in good evidence.
In fact, the word "referral" doesn't quite fit. It's more like a consultation with a close team member. You let us know your goals, we'll quickly consult your patient, and then we'll send you a Consult Report that gives you our assessment, plan and behavioral recommendations. If we start therapy, we'll tune our treatment plan to your patient's clinical picture, including your top priorities like weight, blood pressure and pain distress.
