Have you ever wanted to teach Pilates? Or maybe you're a student and have fallen in love with the work and would like to improve your practice and deepen your knowledge of Pilates. At The Spot we offer a full 450-hour Comprehensive Pilates training which includes Mat Pilates and the full studio apparatus: Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Chair, Spine Corrector and Ladder Barrel.
Through this 200 hour program we will dive into the roots of yogic history and explore the fundamentals of a vinyasa yoga practice. Our goal is for you to feel empowered and prepared to teach a yoga class while also creating a deeper relationship within your body, mind, and personal yoga journey. Whether you want to learn to teach or deepen your understanding of yoga, all levels of experience are welcomed to this training.

In the 1920s, Pilates worked to rehabilitate bed riden patients by removing bedsprings from the bed and attaching them to the walls.

Using straps that hang from the ceiling participants are able to do push-ups, sit ups and stretches that cannot be performed in thy as regular floor exercises or on a machine. It is a total workout for the whole body, providing excellent toning for both the upper and lower body as well as the core area, all at the same time.

I could go on and on about this incredible studio, but I will leave it at this - the women here build each other up in every single way, between encouraging each other to keep going or push yourself further to genuinely check in with each other to make sure we're all okay. It is a true tribe and I'm fortunate to be a part of it. Give it a try. I truly hope everyone feels the same way I do.

This is such a wonderful gym! I've been to a boxing and spin class so far, and both were fun and challenging. Both classes were beginner-friendly and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel confident during the workout. I'd recommend this gym to anyone, especially someone who prefers group-based workouts like myself!
