Disrespectful of my time and totally unapologetically for making me wait 2 hours for what was a short 5 minute consult. It did not appear that Dr. Larry Sherrer listened or cared and it felt that he did not want to be there. What an utterly unpleasant experience. (Thanks however to the friendly staff that were helpful and tried to cover for him).

Very pleased with their services. Front desk is courteous, friendly, and your check in is almost immediate. Everyone is very professional and they do extensive testing when needed. I had cataract surgeries and everything including my options were explained I went with the Toric lens to correct my severe astigmatism. There was a problem with one eye but they continued to work with me and got it corrected. I went from 20/200 vision in both eyes to 20/30 in both, along with almost 100% of the astigmatism gone. I've never had this vision even with glasses my entire life. I highly recommend their services

Great service in person, however, I had an issue with my glasses. I called multiple times, and each time I was told I would receive a call back. I never received that call. They never updated me with any developments in regards to my issue and left me in the dark. I spent $500+ on glasses to be treated as if I wasn’t a valued customer.

Pacific Eye Center went out of their way to help me out. They kept in contact with me until we were able to work out a time I could come in for an eye exam. Every time I come to the office the staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoy doing business with the P.E.C. and would recommend them to anyone who needs glasses on Kauai.

I typically prefer going to an eye doctor rather than getting a prescription from a store. Pacific Eye Center appeared to be one of the only such options on Kauai, so I scheduled an appointment. None of the tests were performed by Dr. Sherrer. After having the tests done by an assistant I waited in a cold exam room for nearly an hour to see the doctor! All he did was look over the test results and sign off on the prescription.
They checked me out without asking if I wanted contact lenses, and I had to ask for a trial pair. I was told that was a different department and there was a long wait. 2

I was staying in nearby Koloa for my wife's work trip and realized as we got here I did not bring my contacts with me. As many people who are contact or glasses wearers, the notion of being without them was a bit traumatizing. But with some calls to my eye center back home to get my prescription, and securing transportation to Lihue, I was able to swing in and ask for some help securing some contacts for the week. I was met promptly and courteously, told the kind lady what I needed and she promptly brought me some replacement contacts, solution, and a case. I was not charged for them, which

The people were nice enough but they left us waiting over an HOUR and 45 minutes before even seeing the doctor - we arrived on time but yet they said it appeared normal... If I'd had any idea it was going to need to wait with two kids for nearly 2 hours I would've picked another doctor, there are plenty of other eye doctors here.

Don't make my mistake and waste your yearly eye exam at Pacific Eye Center. After sitting at countless machines they suddenly had my prescription before I even saw the doctor. Which would be great, but it was way off. They gave me tester contacts which I could tell the first day I wore them, were incorrect. Not only was the power off but so was the axis. I called to make another appointment and explained my concerns to the front desk. She called me back a day later saying she spoke with the doctor and he will not see me again. He stands by his prescription. So I was left buying another 6 month

Thank you Pacific Eye Center! Here on vacation and suspected on day 2 that I had a Corneal Ulcer - scratched cornea under contact lens. Called the 2 opthamologists nearby. The first said they had no appointments available. Pacific Eye Center said come on over. I had to wait a bit to get started, and another 10 minutes in the doctor's office, but didn't seem like much to me since they squeezed me right in. After a thorough eye-check in a very well-equipped office by a very friendly "nurse," Dr. Shearer checked my eye and confirmed the problem. He gave me a very clear understanding

Dr. Sherrer is a wonderful doctor! He is the best ophthalmologist I have ever been to. He and the people that work there are knowledgable and caring. I did not have to wait long at all. I have gotten glasses several times there and each time they were perfect. They have a really big selection to choose from and in all price ranges. They seemed like they really cared and gave me excellent care. I have recommended them to my friends and family and they have been very happy going to Dr. Sherrer too.

My Husbands appointment took 2 hours for a routine check up. I believe they book too many patients at once and are not able to efficiently help people. The appointment was specifically for contact prescription renewal, which we didn't get before we left. Went back inside to get the paper prescription, then left only to find out they only gave us a script for eyeglasses and we now had to wait for a week until the Doctor was back in office to get the renewal. Very disappointed in the service and have since scheduled a new appointment for a different doctor.

It's the eye doctor, what can I say. Even if you make an appointment you still have to wait awhile. The nurses are nice though. And even though I have to wait like 15 minutes in the room for the doctor to come in, when he does he checks me out, and works pretty efficiently. I'd hope so with all the other patients he has to see. I just go here because my parents insurance covers it so yeah. I mean Kauai is small, not too many options.
