I came back from New York just before Christmas and wanted to get a COVID test. Different places said they had walk-ins, but I was turned away. The only appointment I could get was for well after Christmas. I heard about Medical Center of Marin in Novato and called them. They set up an appointment that same afternoon. It was quick, easy and very professional.

This place is a waste of time. They practice selective medicine and basically only want to treat you if you have something they want to treat. So if you have strep, the flu or pretty much anything with fever, don't waste your time. They refuse to see you if you have even one covid symptom, even with a negative covid test within an hour of trying to see them. You are doctors, there are other things that cause sore throats that people need treatment for! Very rude on the phone, unhelpful, and frankly did not even understand what I was asking- so the receptionist did not seem very smart or maybe just

Totally unprofessional and also lacking courtesy. I went there for a Covid 19 test before flying and specifically asked for a certificate that would contain all the information requested by the airline, including the type of test and my birthdate. They confirmed. But when I received the document both types of info were missing and their reply was “this is what we do”. Just avoid them if you can!

I was referred to this place by my office last week when I had injury at work. This week another of my colleague was injured too and I referred her to Medical Centre of Marin and since then, they have been taking good care of our conditions, hoping for the best in due time. Keep it up all.

I went to this clinic after verifying they could give blood tests regarding Lyme disease beforehand. They assured me the examine doctor could make that determination, so I made the appointment.
I could not believe the level of hostility I experienced from the doctor. She glared at me and kept repeating to me how my insurance might not cover my lab tests. I kept having to reassure her I would take care of my expenses. I don’t understand what aggravated her so much. Patients come because we’re not feeling well. Instead of being shown kindness, we treated with hostility. What is wrong with this

Excellent, efficient care! Went in for a gash on my head. The entire staff was courteous and professional. COVID protocols were reasonable and unobtrusive. There was only one patient ahead of me, so I can't comment on how a larger crowd might have affected turnaround. Nevertheless, I could see it is an efficient operation: I was screened, cleaned, sewn up and on my way in under an hour! Definitely recommended!

I went to urgent care because I fell on a Saturday morning and my arm hurt badly.
I was greeted kindly and felt very safe as the place was exceptionally clean and Covid aware for sure. I saw the PA right away who was incredibly professional. They took an x-ray, showed me that I had a mild break and suggested I go to an orthopedist within the next few days. It wasn't the type of break to cast but he gave me a sling which made me comfortable, a few pain pills and I was out of there. The other gentlemen that greeted me and showed me to the PA and took insurance information could not have been

I understand that different places have different policies, but seeing one of your nurses walking around with out a mask, and another staff member there also not wearing a mask it’s quite worrying! Among the other patients there we just looked at each other in disbelief haha, it was quite comic. I just hope that you take our health and your health more seriously from now on. I will forward this to my HR dpt as well, poor safety standards in a medical clinic during this pandemia shouldn’t be an option.

I returned from a trip to Central America with a cough that cleared everyone away from me wherever I went. Miserable congestion and a flu like feeling I immediately came into this clinic after being refused to be seen by Novato's Sutter Health after hours on Roland. The staff were attentive and listened carefully. In minutes I was seen, tested for the flu and given a breathing treatment. I've been in medicine all my life and I could not have been more impressed with the staff and their efficiency. On my way to a great recovery now. Thank you!!

Due to a wrist injury at work I have been sent to this facility to diagnose, treat and follow up my care. The front staff of Alex and Monica are always very polite and efficient. Dr. Paula Connolly has been extremely knowledgeable, patient and always open to suggestion and concern in the care of my injury. It was important to me to be able to access the Doctor as well (due to one of the PA's who was not really up to par)so I've appreciated the access to her at each appointment. I have been very impressed with the service here and would recommend this facility in the future.

Excellent experience from start to finish. I made an appointment online (for abut 90 min in advance). I was seen very close to my appointment time. The assistant helped me complete the forms (my finger was injured and broken). Everything was super clean and professional. The doctor is an ER specialist and was great. I felt confident in his diagnosis and treatment, as well as the care of the nurse. Two days later they called to check on me. They are a class act.

On Friday the 13th I sprained my ankle very badly. I went to the Urgent Care Medical Center of Marin. They were so nice and friendly. I got X-rays, a walking boot, and a prescription in 45 min. Ironically one of my friends hurt her ankle about the same way. She went to the ER instead. She said that they were there all afternoon and most of the evening. What a difference.

Came in with sinusitis to get prednisone and antibiotics, medical assistant obese Hispanic gentlemen was very rude and aggressive to me during triage and got my blood pressure and heart rate up to the point that a PA asked me what happened and what caused that. Saying things like "are you gonna tell me how to do my job now" and such. I was very sick and didn't wanna deal with his behavior at that time. Bedside manner is very important specially when caring for people who don't feel welMade my experience very unpleasant at that time, will never return again. Thank you.

5 things you might want to know:
1) Alex the PA is not friendly at all. When you're sick or feeling crappy, the last thing you want to do is deal with someone who seems like he's annoyed you are there.
2) Parking is very easy and the facility is new so everything was recently remodelled and painted.
3) The doctor is very odd. I've been in twice and both times it was the same provider. She's very verbose, acts out nearly everything she says, and when I went in with bad food poisoning she asked me if I ate at an Asian place "because they tend to cut corners" (I&apos

I was hiking in the area when I tripped and twisted my ankle. I usually go to Kaiser but they weren't available and I felt like I needed an X-ray. I called and spoke with Alex and he instructed me to come right in. He actually does the X-rays and said that if the doctor ordered it, we could do it right then and there. I walked in, filled out some paperwork and Alex took me back. He was really nice and accommodating and noticed that I was limping and gave me crutches to use in the office and ice while I waited for the doctor. We had a such bad experience at this place, from the moment we walked in, we were treated like we were doing them a favor. The front desk guy that was there was extremely rude with a horrible attitude towards us. He refused to give me his name who knows why, but we asked someone else and we find out his name is Alex. This men shouldn't even be working in a front desk urgent care because he has no idea how to deal with the patients. Very disappointing and poor customer service. I arrived at the clinic with a terrible case of poison oak from a hike I was on. Monica at the front desk quickly welcomed me with little waiting time. After filing out paperwork I saw a doctor 10 minutes later. Monica brought me out and quickly processed my insurance information. After a thank you and a joke I was on my way. The older women doctor was the sweetest I went in after work not knowing what I had wheezing and what not and she was calm in answering all my questions left the room and kept coming back asking if I needed anything and how I was doing easily able to have a conversation with her great job keep it up and as for the staff in front also cool chill people nice and helpful glad to have something like this in Novato

We were very pleased with the support we received from the staff, via phone and in-person (Monica is great!). We needed blood tests and an EKG done quickly and they took care of everything, including getting the results to our doctor fast. Their pricing is low, compared to others. The facility is brand new. Very happy to have them in our town.
