After giving up her career as an attorney, Susan transformed her lifelong passions for design and fashion by launching Susan Hanover Designs. Her first collection of designer jewelry received considerable attention, enabling her to make a notable place for herself in the highly competitive accessories market.
Her original cuffs quickly became signature pieces, recognized around the world for their sophisticated yet whimsical style. Susan developed her brand and within a year or two her collections were sold in many of the major retailers both in the USA and abroad. Susan Hanover Designs came to Greenwich Avenue recently and I went in recently and bought the worst purchase ever. $166 for a ring that is made like it should be in a five and dime store. Why? The first and only time I wore the ring, the metal band twisted and separated from the metal floral facing with a "pearl" in the center. I twisted it back into place, and a bit disappointed in the lack of quality. But....it happened again within an hour. Again, the ring was caught on something else and twisted away from the facing like a noodle. Be cautious. Very cautious in what you purchase
