A root canal is a procedure used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. Although normal tooth decay can become increasingly worse and eventually lead to a root canal, often times blunt trauma can cause the tooth to die as well. Your dentist will remove the dead nerve from the tooth and then seal it off to prevent another infection or abscess from forming around the tooth.
Gums are the tissue that surround and support your teeth. Gum disease is when this tissue becomes infected and is one of the leading causes of tooth loss. Plaque is the primary cause of gum disease, which is also called periodontal disease. Plaque (the bacteria on teeth) is constantly forming, so regular dental care is important to preventing buildup that affects the gums.
An extraction is performed to remove a tooth, whether because of disease, crowding, or damage. When extractions are required, the area around the tooth will be numbed and your dentist will remove the tooth. A small amount of bleeding is normal, as your mouth will replace the removed tooth root by forming a blood clot in the area.

Avoid this place. My dad got some work done at this clinic and they gave an estimate and it was paid so they started to do the job. When the work on his teeth were done, my dad never stopped feeling pain on one side so he went back and from the work done they had done wrong they were charging him $1,400 more because they were saying it was his nerves when he never had issues like this. If they didn't do something right, they should not be charging more to fix it.

Bad bad bad bad unprofessional service given by Maria the receptionist very rude and inconsistent and I guess she believes she has authority to tell patients what pain medicine to take instead of asking the dentist and now she's totally denying everything and now they lost a whole patient spoke to the office manager who then spoke to me like I was lying... and then backed up Maria and basically didn't do anything about the problem at hand she basically laughed at my face and said that she will wait for IEhp to Contact them when I report them and the sad part is at the dentist was great

I would have been a potential patient this week I have a procedure done but instead I will take my business elsewhere because the receptionist Maria and her office manager are very rude and they are liars Maria told me that I should take Aleve over the counter pain medicine without consulting the dentist because I have other health issues while now when my primary doctor told me I was never supposed to take that along with my other medication Maria then lied and said she has nothing to do with that and that she didn't tell me to take Aleve when in fact she did on top of that she hung up on

I can go in detail about my terrible dental experience here beginning with just the x-ray, to getting my wisdom tooth removed without enough anesthesia and a dental assistant that had such a heavy hand who kept placing the suction in painful areas as well as points to where I instantly gag in addition to a painful deep cleaning but the most alarming thing about this dental office was that I was charged over $127 more than I was suppose to. The only reason I knew this was by checking my insurance's claim report that came in the mail after my services as they showed my fees I was expected to

I had an appointment at 11am and I was finally called back at 12:20pm. I'm not exaggerating. When I walked in to the tiny waiting area there was over 5 people waiting to be seen. This place can do a better job at scheduling to make sure they are not over crowding their clients in a pandemic. Especially since I had to wait for over an hour to be seen, couldn't I have just been scheduled at 12pm? Administrative staff was friendly and I liked that they were bilingual since most of the people in the area are Spanish speaking. Once I was done with X-rays I had to wait another 25 minutes in

I needed one of my molars removed due to severe infection. I also had a few cavities that needed to be taken care of. I never felt any of the shots. I had to have a lot of them since the molar had already had a root canal. The doctor was very kind. When I needed a break, she never got irritated with me. Then, when she started again, she would ask if I was ok.

My mother had an appointment for this Thursday 05-28-2020 and today, Wednesday 05-27-2020, she received a phone call from the office and the receptionist let her know that the doctor will not be coming in on her appointment date and that her appointment will be cancelled. Instead of giving her the option to reschedule the receptionist said that my mother had to call again to reschedule. I find this unprofessional, having my mother or any patient on the phone, rescheduling should be an option rather than just cancelling an appointment. We will not be going to this dentist and advise others to look

I have to give this office some recognition. I came in for questions and concerns. The entire staff was very well educated and informed me of my condition that other physicians had failed to tell me. So thank you to Yessica and the staff for making sure i have a healthy smile. Always give a dental practice a chance before getting discouraged on false reviews. The services at this location have been wonderful. It is clean, the staff has excellent customer service, good location, plenty of parking and they're prompt with their appointments. They're very understanding and have made me feel very comfortable compared to my past experiences.
