"Brandon" did an "excellent job" of restoring my ring's "shiny; untarnished beauty" while wearing a "sharp; professional suit and tie" and a "set of stylish suspenders."
Overall - it was a very "pleasant; professional; positive" experience.

First of all, if I could give TEN stars, I most definitely would! My husband and I have been doing business with Charlie Hood way back when he worked for The Village Diamond Center, located in a very small area in the Vandenberg Village skating rink in the mid-80's! Charlie notified us by mail I believe, that he was leaving TVDC, and striking out on his own. I don't, however, know the exact year when he opened his current business, C.B. Hood Diamond. My first experience with CB Hood was to have a ring sized. The staff was friendly, professional and very knowledgable. They let me know what to expect for the finished product. They explained the vast amount of experience their jewelry makers had and that my ring was in good hands. The ring was finished earlier then estimated and it fit perfectly. With the free cleaning it looked like a new ring. I will definately be back!

I lost the diamond out of my antique ring and took my ring to CB Hood. The staff is wonderful, professional and knowledgeable they explained in detail how they would repair ring and they had the perfect diamond for my ring. When I picked up the ring the ring was perfect I was thrilled. I highly recommend CB Hood for all repairs or looking for something special.

Update: Charlie, Michelle, and Courtney are so great. They helped my Hubs find the perfect wedding band/engagement ring combo for our 20th wedding anniversary. They were so patient with him as he went through all their stock and then looking through catalogues. It is wonderful. They helped keep it on the DL from me so it was a major surprise. I am VERY thankful for their part on making our 20th a great anniversary.

Awesome store! Great environment and super helpful staff, Charlie and Courtney know their stuff. I thought for sure that the prices would be crazy high because of how beautiful and high end the jewelry is but was pleasantly surprised when everything was priced way lower than I was expecting to pay! Will be going back and definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Charles and Courtney are amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They make you feel welcome! They are hilarious which is a plus! Their selection is very nice! I love that their business is family operated. They truly take the time to get to know you and help you find what you're looking for. I don't feel like they were just trying to sell us jewelry. They were great about understanding we had a budget and wanted to make sure we could keep to that budget with what we found.

My hubby(Chris) knows exactly where to go to make me very happy. For the last 22+ years we've been Charlie's faithful customers. Not only does he have a great selection but it's all top quality. Charlie taught him all about the 4 Cs and Chris is a quick learner (with a good memory). We go to CB Hood for all our jewelry needs. We've been lucky enough to be on the receiving end of a gift or two from Charlie for our years of patronage. We tell all our friends to shop there... they'd be foolish not to! I met the CB Hood group by walking in to about a getting a jewelry appraisal.They offered to clean my 4 carat diamond ring complimentary and when they did they inspected it as well. Courtney was advised by the lady that was cleaning my ring that I had diamonds that were about to fall out. So Courtney then takes it over to take a look under the scope and shows me the damage that I had no idea about.Three of my bigger diamonds, and a prong on the back side of one of the diamonds was broke. She tried to secure them the best she could for me to have it repaired on a later day. Courtney saved me thousands

My wife and I brought our wedding rings in to be checked out. I received an estimate on any work being done, which seemed high, but not extraordinary. However, I decided not to get the work done at that time. When I went into the store to pick up the rings, I was told the rings had been sent out for the estimate, and they had not been returned. I was surprised that the rings were sent somewhere else for an estimate, but I figured that was my assumption that would be done on-site. I was told the rings would be back the following Tuesday, and I would receive a call to pick them up. No call
