Family patriarch, the late Mas Uyesugi, along with his wife Mary and son Allan, grew the business from its humble beginning in downtown Santa Ana over six and half decades ago. Since then they have worked tirelessly to build a reputation for delivering a quality product with the personalized service that has become their trademark.

AA Jewel Box From has an amazing collection of engagement rings and jewelry for every budget.
They were very patient with me as I looked for the perfect engagement ring, which they ultimately had custom made pairing the perfect diamond with a unique setting that my fiance loved and which she gets constant compliments on.
Later, after window shopping at many other jewelry stores, I realized nothing would come close to the experience I had at AA Jewel Box. So we returned to purchase my band here as well, which was also custom designed!

I brought my watch here after a place down the street from them essentially took my watch battery after they told me it wasn't the battery it was the watch that was broken.
They helped me locate the specific battery it needed the good old fashion way of using the internet and product manuals. I also traded stories with the jewelers and it turns out we have so much in common they're my favorite
They gave me a quick quote for the job but more importantly they told me it was the coil and the overhaul that it needed and I believe they kicked in a free battery, seriously bless them.

We were very happy to have found AA Jewel Box. Not knowing anything about buying wedding rings, we followed a recommendation of good friends to them. They were a huge pleasure to work with. We chose really simple rings, but they had an amazing selection. Best of all, it made us feel great to work with a small family business. Immediately we felt taken care of like friends. Would not recommend. Allan (owner) promised to make a wedding band that would perfectly match my engagement ring. The band was supposed to be french pave eternity ring. However, when the ring was finished, the side view was irregular triangles that looked nothing like my engagement ring. He refused to refund and now 5 year later, the prongs have come loose and the ring pokes the fingers next to my ring finger when I wear it. I should take it back and have them repair it but honestly would just rather not deal with them again. Untrustworthy and really bad craftsmanship.

Definitely a great experience. The lady at the counter was very friendly and explained to me their process of getting my ring resized and refinished. Maybe they are in a more competitive market but I decided not to go with them due to their price. They were asking around 150 for a resizing and refinishing (75 for each). Although I did not use them, I would not have any issue recommending them to anyone in the area.

We had whole "engagement ring shopping" day planned. I went in to every other store with a picture on my phone of what I thought I wanted, based on what I'd found online.
I showed Denise at AA Jewel Box the picture, and she said it could be easily done. But she was also the first person to encourage me to try on a similar style, to see if I liked it. Internally, I balked a little, I admit. "Like I'm going to change my mind," I thought. So I tried on ring after ring after ring of similar styles. And I hated all of them.
So Denise had me try on all sorts of styles

I would highly recommend AA Jewel Box to everyone... after my mother passed away 15 years ago, I inherited her ring... AA Jewel Box has been taking care of it ever since..
First for sizing.. then for what I call 'tune ups'.. checking the prongs etc.. they have always done a wonderful job...
This time I had to finally have the fix the back part of the band as it was wearing thin...
I got it back today and it ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I was so excited and happy to get it back but then to see it? It made my heart melt...
Thanks to them I will have many years of wearing it and then passing

My husband and I got my engagement ring and our wedding rings here. What I love about this family own business is that they are not "sale-sy" at all. Instead they are very informative. They never push you to buy anything or give their opinion on how anything looks on you. They want us to make the decision 100% on our own because everyone has their own style. After 2 years, I still get commented on how sparkly my ring is. Great service and great quality jewelry!

Allen, Steven & the rest of the family are some of the most friendly and trustworthy people to do business with. My family has been using AA Jewel Box for many years and I know that my mother refers anyone she can to them. They have done a wonderful job refurbishing and/or restyling inherited jewelry from my great grandparents and grandparents. They also do a great job collaborating on custom jewelry if you want to put something together special with an item that means something to you.

AA Jewel Box is the only place I go to for jewelry. I worked with Steve to put together a custom wedding ring design. My wife and I are both Graphic Designers and very particular about aesthetics. She had a very distinctive look so we took pieces from other rings and I drafted a drawing of her wedding ring and Steve was able to materialize our vision and improve on it. My wife absolutely loves her ring. She is always complemented on its originality and I can't rave enough about Steve's skill and artistry. I have the utmost confidence in my purchases.
