We've been in "downtown Coosa" for almost 30 years serving the finest country-style cooking in the area. Always fast, great, & good prices. All over the one star reviews are ppl seeking attention. This place has been open 36 years by the same person. Sadly it is closing. It will be missed.

We went here for lunch we wanted a small mom and pop business to support. This was the kind of restaurant we were looking for but not the atmosphere or attitudes of the workers. They were making drinks and my husband asked for a large drink and the lady rolled her eyes, then my friend asked for one and she huffed so loud, so I mentioned that she didn’t ask so I wasn’t sure why she had an attitude then all the workers walked over to the register and mocked me “ oh we didn’t ask ” .. There was ONE lady who was so sweet , blonde lady - I really liked her. Anyways the card machines were down

Some really good biscuits here and the service isn't bad. the chicken biscuit I had was good but it would be great if they made their own chicken. frozen patties just don't taste as good

Treats you like family. The food is all home made and is delicious. You have many choices of meat and vegetables. The deserts are wonderful. Loved the peach cobbler. Many deserts are offered. Will definitely return many times, and you should also.

Good home cooking good friendly people. Highly recommend this place. No it's not brand new it's been there for over 30 years but it's clean despite what some might think and the staff are real clean people that know how to cook

This restaurant is only open Breakfast and Lunch Monday through Friday. It is nothing fancy, just down home true Southern cooking. Served cafeteria style, the kitchen is right behind the serving steam table, just down home friendly. The ladies are so truly Southern, you feel like you've gone to your grandmother's or an aunt's house, and the food is really good.....I mean real Southern cooking and good portions. So-o-o friendly, great reasonable prices, and the ladies ask if you got enough..."want something else?". This is the closest thing to "Doe's Eat Place
