Traditional metal braces are the most common type of braces and are more comfortable today than ever before. Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires. With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored elastics (rubber bands) for a more unique and colorful smile.

I was only a few months into having new ceramic braces(!) put on in San Diego when my military husband received orders to the DMV area. Fun, right? As an adult patient, you're already stressed trying to find a way to pay for it all since it's not covered by most insurance, but I was *terrified* that I wouldn't be able to find the same quality of care coming from a full-service dental group or worse, start from scratch. I actually began to receive letters that if I didn't get into a new practice soon, they would have to come off.

This office is the absolute best. I have been going to this office for at least an year now and I'm so glad and happy my daughter dentist office sent us here. The staff is AMAZING, the office is clean presentable and comfortable. The details of the office very open and busy makes you feel st ease. I'm getting adult braces done with Dr Lee. It has been excellent experience! Despite my case being challenging( have many filling and few crowns) Dr Lee and his staff going above and beyond making things work.
Their office is beautiful. The staff is very professional yet very pleasant. I never had trouble scheduling an appointment, regular follow ups nor an emergency visits. They manage to run appointments efficiently, so I don't have to gamble with my daily schedule.

I have to admit, I was so nervous getting braces put on- but Dr. Lee made the entire experience (from consultation to follow-up care) a breeze. Dr. Lee was honest about my experience and my teeth, which was a huge relief and I felt cared for immediately.
I still have my braces, and each appointment has been so easy to make and I've even had work emergencies come up where I've needed to reschedule and they've always been so flexible. I've had to call for a few "wire-cutting" appointments, and each time they've been able to get me in ASAP.

The staff here are very friendly and personable and so is Dr. William. I came here for an orthodontic consultation. This office gave me the most affordable quote by a long shot compared to the other two local orthodontists I visited. Dr. William's treatment plan was the longest, but his plan seemed like the most realistic, effective plan. I'm highly confident in Alexandria Braces. I choose them for my treatment.

I had a great experience at This establishment. First off the Dr. Is a specialist and that's extremely important in orthodontic treatment. I discovered Alexandria Braces through Yelp. After a few consultations elsewhere, I knew exactly what I needed. This is my second round of braces since my teenage years and it will be my last. Not only was this office impossible to get a hold of, but their posted hours cannot actually be their business hours. I called Friday, Saturday, and Monday (during regular hours) and left messages requesting an appointment. Not a good sign...I also filled out the online "Request an appointment" form and so far (over 1 month later) have heard nothing- no call, no email, nothing. We have let our son's regular dentist know how we could not get a hold of ANYBODY at this office (as this was one of two they recommended). Waste of my time going for my boys braces and was recommended from one of the dentist...they said they were going to call back, one month pass still no calls...they didn't even process anything as per my medicaid. ..guess it's all about the money with this kind of dentist...u should of at least tell me that day I spoke with dr. Lee ur not going to proceed with the procedure instead wasting of my time ...first thing he asked me is, "If my medicaid was use yet?" It's a shame u couldn't understand where I was coming from...

I wanted to update my review as soon as I got my braces on but decided to wait until after my 2nd apt. As mentioned in my first review I really liked Dr. Lee and was confident that he knew what he was doing. I understand the stress of relocating/opening a new location. In regard to the business aspect that I mentioned in the previous post everything has done a 360. I get a call and e-mail days before my actual appointment. I also like the fact that they have Saturday appointments available, that totally helps if you have a 9-5.

I LOVE my new Ortho office!! The environment is so welcoming and I honestly feel like family there. A lot of times it's a hit or miss with office staff and Drs.... Either the office staff is great and the Dr isn't that great or vice versa but here, it's all in one, great Dr and super great staff. The decor is excellent which adds to the experience. Dr Lee is very knowledgeable and took the time to listen to my concerns and provide me with the best options possible. Cara and Crystal have made my experience even better. Who knew going to the orthodontist would be this much fun!

Dr. Lee treated my daughter who has serious orthodontic issues. I highly recommend him. Before going to Dr. Lee we saw three other orthodontists but none fully answered all our questions and concerns like he did. I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise. Dr. Lee did a great job on my 13 year old daughter's teeth- she was finished with her braces earlier than we anticipated and we are so happy with the results! My daughter had extremely crowded teeth which required multiple teeth extractions before starting the process but we found Dr. Lee to be very knowledgeable and confident in his care of her. Dr. Lee treated my 10 yr. son with great care. He was very gentle and kind during all of our monthly visits. I'm one of those moms that tend to worry and ask a zillion questions and Dr. Lee always took the time to explain every detail along the way. I also had orthodontic treatment done but unfortunately not by him. It wasn't until I had a bad experience with my treatment that I realized not all orthodontist are the same! I did a lot of research and found my way to Dr. Lee.

Dr. Will Lee has been super accommodating and professional in his assessment and plan to get my daughters teeth aligned and looking great. He realizes the complexities of growth of my 11 year old and with the use of various technologies, has offered his opinions that are fully understandable, relatable and reasonable. My youngest daughter will need braces within a year or so and will not trust another orthodontist other than Dr. Lee!
