Uptown Blossoms

I have received flowers from Uptown Blossoms and they are always so beautiful and last very long so I took a shot at purchasing for a friends birthday.
Yesterday was my first experience with them personally and the customer service I received is unmatched by any other florist I have used. I called desperately hoping to get an arrangement delivered on a VERY tight timeframe. The gentleman on the phone was very helpful in choosing what fit best for the occasion and within my price point and the flowers were delivered in under 1 hour! Beautiful and well worth their pricing. Will not use anywhere

I spoke with an employee about flowers not getting delivered to my mom for Mother's Day. Hope called me back the next day explaining the situation (was not their fault or their driver's fault). I told Hope that I'll talk to my mom about what happened and that someone took her flowers. Hope was so generous that she said she will deliver flowers herself to my mom's business as a late Mother's Day gift at no extra cost. This was a situation where Hope didn't need to do that so I really appreciate that she went out of her way to deliver flowers for her. I will continue

Hope did such an amazing job with our wedding flowers! I showed her just two photos of what I liked and she created such unique, beautiful arrangements that were just perfect. Even after traveling 7 hours in an RV on rough roads, then spending two days in a cooler waiting for our big day, they were still so beautiful! I have spent a lot of money on flowers through out the years , I used to use the same flower shop for a long time , I tried uptown blossoms and have never gone back to another flower shop. If you are looking for awesome customer service , beautiful flowers and can directly speak to the owners if you have any questions or concerns. I used Uptown Blossoms for the first time for my daughters graduation party. The flowers were very high quality and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

My order started out as just a simple bouquet for the graduation ceremony and some sunflowers for the party. When I walked into the shop I saw that they had a selection of beautiful exotic flowers. They were able to put an amazing arrangement together very quickly that was perfect.

On the day of the party when I was picking up the sunflowers I realized that I had forgotten a vase for one of the center pieces I was putting together

I have used these guys over the years and they have done well. This year I decided to use them for Valentine's Day and send traditional red roses. The staff did a fine job on the phone and the flowers were delivered in a reasonable amount of time.

My issue was the cost and quality of the flowers. I normally would send high style or more exotic arrangements and pay around $75-$80 and get a Really nice vase.

This time they got me for over $150 and got very average looking red roses and what looked like a Walmart vase. Very disappointing effort for the special day. Really overcharged

Received birthday flowers from a dear friend today - they looked "tired", a little dried out and certainly not up to the advertised standards. Called the store right away to let them know. Encountered a very curt, abrupt sales person telling me that their flowers are fresh and hanging up. Not happy with flowers or customer service.

Uptown Blossoms is THE premier florist in Anchorage. I've used Uptown Blossoms for all my flower arrangement needs for over 15 years, including my wedding (my wedding arrangements were over the top amazing and more perfect than I could have imagined. I just moved or else I would post some of the photos). Their floral designs are amazing and I've always been more than thrilled with their service and total professionalism. There is no better place in Anchorage.

If I could leave no stars, believe me I would. I contacted Uptown Blossoms in March of 2017 for an arrangement for bridal portraits in April, as well as an arrangement for my wedding ceremony May 13th. I specifically made these reservations with HOPE. I made my expectations very clear as most brides do, and was constantly assured that they were capable of what I was requesting. I was continuously told the flowers I chose were ALWAYS in season and there would be no issues. I provided a picture for inspiration and went on my way. April 7th I picked up my first arrangement,

Uptown Blossoms is my "go to" florist. As a business owner, I appreciate being able to turn over my request for employee appreciation bouquets, and office holiday decoration. I know I can trust their design expertise to turn out arrangements that will WOW the recipient. With the good experience using them for my business, I also chose them to make the special arrangement for our personal Christmas Photo Shoot. The Winter Swag and Red Bow were perfect for a photo with the airplane - so very Uptown Blossoms alaskana!

Uptown is my all time fav florist. Hope has been super helpful and attentive to our wedding floral planning and put on an amazing show of flowers for the big day. We can't thank her and her team enough for the awesome work. Many who went to our wedding said that's the best floral arrangements they've seen!:)

I have nothing but good things to say about Uptown Blossoms! I have always loved their creative floral arrangements so I decided they would be the perfect place to make my wedding bouquets. Hope, the owner, was absolutely AMAZING through the whole process! We had two pre-wedding appointments and a long email stream to discuss my thoughts and ideas. Hope was quick to respond and very communicative throughout the whole process. And she took a very loose idea from my brain and turned it into something magical. She also designed a live flower clip for my hair and flower collar for my dog! Honestly

Once you come here you will never need another florist. They are superb. I want to post the creation they made for me. It was truly incredible.

Uptown Blossoms specializes in tropical flowers - they have a pretty amazing selection if that is what you are looking for. We had a large corporate event in Anchorage and our event planner recommended Uptown Blossoms as our florist. They did an amazing job! They were able to create gorgeous and interesting tropical arrangements that incorporated our corporate colors and matched our logo. Each arrangement was full of texture and was specifically designed to fill a certain space.

The best Flower shop in probably all of Alaska!!! Their flower selection and quality is beyond the best, and their service has always been exceptional. They have always been to accomplish my requests and my wife was always surprised by what they can do. Sure you can go to Carrs and pay half the price and have flowers that will last half as long... You are also supporting a local business by coming to these guys.
I have moved to Seattle and I am still looking to find a shop that is even close as good as Uptown Blossoms.

Out of town for my mother's birthday and wanted to send flowers, I found Uptown Blossom's website the best as far as having a variety of arrangements to select from. Called and told them what my mom's favorite flowers were, which flowers and colors to avoid, and a price- they did a STUNNING job! Mom was thrilled and texted me a pic of the arrangement, it is just beautiful and perfectly suited for her tastes.
After having not so great experiences with some of the other florists in town, I'm so happy with Uptown Blossoms and the prices are very reasonable.

This is my new go-to spot for flowers in Anchorage. My wife and I went looking for tropical flowers and this shop has an amazing selection. The selection is even better if you arrive there on a Wednesday after their weekly shipment of tropicals comes in. Luckily we did.

We had two large arrangements of tropicals made for my mother's funeral a couple weeks back and Uptown Blossoms an outstanding job. They were the only arrangements that we received compliments on and they were exactly what my mom would have wanted. The prices seemed pretty reasonable and the quality was definitely there.
