Services
Dr. Brian is the Medical Director of Pets in Harmony Veterinary Hospital, Allegheny North Veterinary Hospital (Perrysville), Tender Touch Veterinary Hospital (Wexford). He primarily sees patients here in Harmony, but works at all three hospitals and provides house call services for our patients throughout the North Hills.
Your pet's health is our #1 priority. Whether your dog or cat is due for an annual exam or has an illness or injury that needs treatment, our veterinarians and certified technicians are ready to help. Exams are by appointment, and we do our best to allow time in the schedule for same-day sick visits.
While pain relievers and non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs) certainly have their place in treating painful conditions, alternative therapies can help reduce the need for these medications. Physical therapy provides relief and improves healing time without the side effects commonly seen with pharmaceuticals.
Your pet's health and comfort are our first priorities, and it's important to us that you understand any recommendations about your companion's medical care. We encourage open communication, so if you ever have questions or concerns, please call us! If your dog or cat is due for vaccinations, it is helpful for us to know what vaccines were given, and on what date.
Our original statement is available on our blog here. I just heard Seresto collars are dangerous? Should I be worried? At this time there is not any evidence that Seresto collars are dangerous. As long as you have a genuine Seresto collar (see FAQ #6) and you have not noticed any issues with your pet, there is no cause for concern.

Two years ago I was on the search for a new Vet. I came across Pets In Harmony and genuinely feel it’s the best decision I could have made for my fur babies! I have two cats. Pure coincidence but both are prone to illness. The vet docs and vet techs have all been incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, helpful and most of all love their jobs! From Dr. Silva, to Dr. Burgos, MacKenzie and Mary Jo, and the rest of the team, Gracie, Nova and I truly appreciate you! Thank you! We will always choose Pets in Harmony.

This vet clinic was well worth the drive. The vet tech rehydrated my dog and the cost was fair. He had not had any water for 3 days. Why do dogs decide to stop drinking and eating? I was so worried. Pets in Harmony displayed true empathy for my dog. He felt a little better afterward, though he still is not 100 percent recovered.

I made an appointment here because I had a bad experience at the vet closest to my home. This place was next closest. As my cat does not do well in the car, I was excited to find a place that was not much further. I called to see if they were taking any new patients, because due to the events of this year, you really don't know. Well they were, and got me in within days when I mentioned what was going on with my baby boy. I was greeted with friendliness and compassion, and not by someone who truly doesn't care and just wants to take your money. The woman who came out to my car to get the details
