Rockford Landscape installed the first phase of landscaping at the conservatory during 2009 to 2011. We were also asked to assist with the installation of some of the larger interior trees, soil as well as interior hardscape items. We were hired by the Rockford Park District to replace aging timbers found bordering the "Island Green" of hole #8.
This high profile project for the Rockford Park District gave us the opportunity to showcase our skill. Unique elements of this project include a Bioswale for collecting storm water runoff from the parking lot and large tree transplanting for immediate landscape impact. We also had the opportunity to work inside the conservatory greenhouse installing hardscape items, soil mixes and large tropical trees.
The Aldeen golf course project allowed us to showcase our abilities both with large boulder construction and to complete a challenging project with a challenging time frame. This project was to replace the aging timbers that were retaining the "Island Green" at Aldeen Golf Course. This project had many challenges associated with it.
Our residential landscaping projects can vary from small one-day jobs to larger ongoing design-build projects. Working individual homeowners gives us a chance to impact the way they enjoy their surroundings. Whether it is a new brick patio, a retaining wall and stone stairs or an entirely new landscape, we treat each project like it is taking place at our own home.
