Helping my family of patients with their oral health is my passion as much today it was when I first graduated from Miami Dade College with my Associate in Science in Dental Hygiene in 2009. My first goal is to use a gentle hand with every aspect of your care, knowing this gentle and thorough approach keeps my patients happy and smiling.
Dr. Hamdi completed her degree in Microbiology from the University of Central Florida and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Hamdi believes that excellent care starts with truly listening to her patients. She strives everyday to provide every patient with high quality care using state of the art equipment coupled with superior expertise acquired from years of experience.

Comprehensive exams are recommended to be done at least bi-annually in order to maintain oral health. Your oral health is our top priority! Oral exams include more than just your teeth, but your gums, tongue, lips, throat, and jaw. A comprehensive oral exam is an extensive evaluation that gives both you and your dentist important information about your teeth and gums.
An oral cancer screening is crucial for early detection of cancer. Oral cancer initiate in oral cavity including tongue, lips, hard palate an cheeks. It is estimated that more than 30,000 Americans are diagnosed every year with this deadliest disease. With early detection, 90% of oral cancers can be cured.

Great experiences all around!!! My hygienist Vanessa is amazing. Knowledgeable, takes time to carefully and thoroughly answer questions and explain details, and the most comfortable dental services I’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend Vanessa. Front desk and Administration is great too. Always out in front and advocating for me (and my wife who is also a patient) if my insurance provider makes mistakes; Primera fixes it on my behalf with no efforts from me. My husband was very pleased with his first visit to this practice today. He is anxious about going to the dentist and had a very comfortable and pleasant visit. Everyone was very kind and patient. The location is convenient. Incredibly clean and modern. The staff is very friendly. Lots of reminders and ensuring your visit is smooth. My family and I have been patients here since 2019 and I must say this is a phenomenal practice. Dr. Hamdi is such a sweet and pleasant doctor, she’s the best. I have also had the pleasure of interacting with Sasha at the front desk and she is an exceptional worker. She’s very professional, pleasant and she goes over and beyond. After cracking a tooth over the weekend, Primera Dental was recommended to me by a couple coworkers and an online search. Everyone in the office was professional and friendly. I had to get a crown and to say I had anxiety is an understatement but they talked me through the entire process and it was painless. I’ve already got another appointment for a cleaning. First time patient here, staff was super nice. When I requested info on becoming a new patient they were very fast to get back with me and even followed up after I had missed the initial phone call. They worked with me around my work schedule and we're very diligent to keep in mind I went on my lunch break so they made sure not to waste any time.

I stumbled upon Primera Dental about a year ago due to an emergency situation and found a forever home! From the get-go Julie, Doctor Hamdi and Jaileen were so friendly and helpful, and make you feel like family. I love how there's no 'sign in sheet' when you walk into this office, we're immediately greeted by name and catch up on the latest life happenings with the awesome receptionist Julie! I responded to one of those mailers they send you. An introductory charge of $69 for cleaning and exam. I just wanted a cleaning, but, this is the game these masons play. After the exam (and the tech telling me my plaque wasn't bad) they said I couldn't have the intro fee and needed a super special cleaning. The cleaning would be $189! I got up and left and they still charged $40 for the exam. So, a $19 cleaning morphed into ten times that much. A big difference if you don' have insurance. Watch out for their bait and switch.
