Anderson & Chhabra EyeCare Center has been taking care of Tampa Bay eyes for over a quarter of a century! Previously located on North Dale Mabry for 13 years, Anderson & Chaabra EyeCare Center moved to their current location on Fletcher Avenue in Tampa in December of 1996. One of our main areas of interest at Anderson & Chhabra EyeCare Center is visual rehab of decreased vision related to corneal problems. Our doctors specialize is correcting vision for corneal conditions such as keratoconus and irregular astigmatism. This includes corneal transplants, post Lasik ectasia, RK surgery, as well as corneal distortion secondary to trauma or injury.
Soft contact lenses are made of a material that absorbs a certain amount of water that makes them soft and flexible. This makes the lens easy to adapt to and comfortable on the eye. Soft lenses come in a variety of materials and moisture content. The different properties of each lens are what make each soft contact lens unique in how it may fit or feel on the eye.

I have been coming to this I doctor center for about 15 years now. I initially started with Dr. Anderson but he has since retired. The staff are always very welcoming, equipped and trained very well. They go out of their way to verify insurance policies correctly, and even connected me to another option for a better discount. I would not go to another eye Doctor in Tampa. You won’t be disappointed. (Keratoconus patient/corneal cross-linking patient)

EDIT: The glasses that they fit me with were the wrong size for my head and gave my constant headaches for two years. They were also the wrong prescription (the same wrong prescription for both eyes) and did not take into account the astigmatism that I have that they did not detect. I have since found another eye doctor who I am much more satisfied with and can finally see.

I will recommend this place only for the doctor. My experience with their optometrist is not good at all. They may recommend you something and eventually make it look like you were adamant for that choice.
I had a bad experience about the progressive glasses which their optician recommended and I tried for the first time and it did not work out.. Later they said doc recommended only the reading glasses. They provided the reading glasses and did not refund for progressives which they recommended at first place.

I wanted to start by saying , My experience at this office have been nothing short of Remarkable. Dr. Malone is the the best , Not only is he carrying ,funny and patient. He is also someone you can trust. I felt so at ease, With him handling my eyes as I'm sure you will feel also. The staff at this office is nothing short of 5 stars. They are fast ,efficient and caring as well. I can see why this office has been in business for as long as they have. Thank you to the staff as well as the doctors . I started coming here in 1999. I still come back 19 years later. I love the staff and love the Doctors. Dr Malone is amazing... love his caring ways. He always remembers my kids. My kids come to him as well and he has always been amazing with them as well. Just send like 5 people to him in the last month...

Excellent service! I have been a patient for over 7 years and won't go anywhere else. Doctor Malone is an expert in contact lens and even with my case being a challenging one, he took the time to find the best solution/fit for me. He doesn't rush the appointments and makes sure you are fully satisfied with treatment, lens or glasses. The front staff is always helpful, polite and friendly.
