Heard good things about this company so I thought I'd call them for a quote. They were over $400 more than the other offers I've checked out. I asked him why that was so much more for the same tire than other places were selling it he said Goodyear don't give them away. He had an attitude about him the whole conversation. I asked if he was the owner he claimed he wasn't. The owner should really know how this person answers the phone and talks to people as he had a negative attitude during the whole conversation.I asked if he even offered free rotations for that price and he

Ladies, we all know that shopping for anything having to do with your car can be a challenge. I know a little about cars thanks to my Dad, and with tires especially so I had a pretty good idea of what needed to be done and what I was looking for. I wanted to find a local biz that I could work with. These guys are awesome, and answered all my questions and on top of that I didn't feel like they were trying to pull one over on me. Blew a tire trailer on a heavy load so we stopped in to replace the spare. Back on the road and an hour away blew two more tires. Called 5 places and no one would do a service call (Friday afternoon) Called A-1 and owner Jeff managed to scrape together three tires and rims and a guy to change them all out for us so we didn't have to worry about blowing anymore out. Very nice service guy, polite and quick. Would definitely recommend.

Saved us! After waiting three hours for our roadside assistance program to find a towing company for us, we found A-1 tire service ourselves and we’re very glad. We had a flat tire on our RV. They came to Forest Lake and changed out the tire. They were very friendly and quick service. John did a great job of helping us that day. Thank you for saving us. Would definitely recommend their service.

Recently had a super single blowout at highway speed on my company truck. My company’s national tire account company sent A1 out to repair it. The tire company gave A1 the wrong information on wheel dimensions. A1 replaced the tire and wheel as instructed. After the repair was made, the repair tech and I noticed it was the wrong wheel dimensions but I was able to continue on with my delivery. I stopped back in at A1 today and was immediately backed in to get the proper wheel installed. Rude staff - nobody acknowledged me when cheerfully walked in. Went in to have a stem replaced. After a 10 minute wait - Mr. Rude comes back and says, "Yes the valve is part of the problem, but the leak cannot be repaired so you need 4 new tires at $880+ tax". Then he says, why would you pay to replace the valve if the tire is bad? I'd already told him it takes me 5 minutes when it's COLD to add air. There is nothing wrong with all of the tires. I went up to see if they could help me free up a seized bolt so I could install my new car battery. They were friendly and more than willing to help. Said they would get to my place in about a half hour )I live right next door.) Well, we ended up freeing it ourselves and I ran up there to tell them we didn't need the help after all.
A pleasant experience. I wouldn't hesitate to use them for tires or buy a battery from them. It seems like a well run operation especially since they couldn't spare the time to help immediately but knew when they could.
