Also known as a mandibular osteotomy, this type of surgery can help correct a receding or protruding lower jaw. Also known as maxillary osteotomy, this type of surgery can correct open bites, cross bites, or a significantly protruding or receded upper jaw. Also known as a genioplasty, this type of surgery can correct a deficient chin, usually accompanied by a severely receded lower jaw.
Broken or loose brackets and bands: A loose or broken bracket or band needs to be reattached as soon as possible, so leave it in place if it is still attached or bring it with you to your appointment if it has fallen off completely. Wire out of place: When a wire slides out of a buccal tube, it can begin to irritate your mouth.
Better aesthetics: Your brackets, wires, and elastic bands will be much less noticeable than their metal counterparts. Smaller brackets: Ceramic braces also include smaller brackets, which again can improve the aesthetics of your appliance. Smaller brackets can also be more comfortable, causing less friction on the inside of your cheeks and lips.
I decided to finally get braces at the age of 27. Dr. Robertson's staff has been amazing! They are fun to chat with and always go the extra step to educate me on what is being done. The cost is affordable and there are nice perks that come with being a patient. I highly recommend Star! They really know orthodontia here!

Do not reccomend this place I was affected by covid lost my job and they hunt you down like you stole from them if you miss a payment. They are extremely nice when you are considering them for your dental needs but after that are stalkers for a payment and cannot sympathize with any situation explained. They do not explain what they are doing while they are working on your kid. They charge you 20$ if you reschedule and a 40$ late fee for payments They will not work on your child unless you are caught up with payment so if you are behind 2 months your child will miss 2 months of app. Hope this helps

If I could give them less than a one star I would. Called to get information amd make a payment for my daughter but said they could not give me information but could rake my money. They have already taken my insurance. If you were to ask me where to go for braces for your child, I would tell you NOT HERE!!!

HOLE IN MY TONGUE AND WAS NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY! The next day I got my braces I called to mention that something is wrong in my mouth because I have extreme pain and I feel a cut getting deeper in my tongue as if the retainer was not put on properly, they mentioned I would have to make an appointment in order to be seen instead of requesting to come in to take a look at it. I couldn't hold the pain any longer the next day so I called again to get a sooner appointment which is when they heard me crying to come in and finally accepted to come in. Some of the rudest staff I've ever dealt with. Certain ones even talked poorly about Dr Robertson when she walked away from examining me. They clearly have no respect for her. I don't know if they are so unhappy with their jobs that that is the reason why they treat their patients poorly or what their excuse is. I pray Dr. Robertson gets rid of the few staff that is doing this.

They really know orthodontia here! The doctors here are experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. They offer a finance program and the staff are courteous. If you ir your child need orthodontia I highly recommend this place. Before we came here I looked into the other options in town and this business had the best prices and offered more including after care!

It's hard to find an honest doctor that you trust. Dr Robertson is by far the most amazing doctor I've met. She truly cares about her patients and takes on the most difficult cases. She is very passionate about her work. There can be a wait Thursday and Saturdays since those are their busiest days but if you schedule first thing in the morning or when the girls come back from lunch there is no wait and an easy solution. Unfortunately all they care about is money. After spending almost $10,000 on braces, they gave me flimsy plastic retainers that I'm supposed to wear the rest of my life. They broke within two years. It cost nearly $500 to replace them. So I guess I'm supposed to pay $500 every 2-3 years for a new retainer or else my teeth will be messed up. Cool.

The customer service here is AMAZING! The staff is friendly. The orthodontist was so kind as well. I would recommend this place to anyone. They did a free consultation and x-rays to get me started in the right direction. They also have tons of toys and even a small outdoor park area for kids to play on!
