Services
Dr. Daniel Torres has been in the exclusive practice of orthodontics since 1984. He obtained his dental degree in 1981 graduating at the top of his class. He received his orthodontic certificates at the University of Nuevo Leon and Louisiana State University. Dr. Torres is licensed to practice orthodontics in Texas, California and Mexico.
When you walk in Dr. Daniel Torres's clinic, you will not only find a dentist to help you but a super warm human being with a big nice group of people behind him. My treatment was a year and a half and still to this day (3 years later) he can still answer my questions and doubts. He is an excellent friend an extraordinary professional on what he does.
Traditional Braces - Metal braces are the most common type of braces. These are more comfortable today than ever before! Metal brackets are made of high-grade stainless steel and straighten your teeth using archwires. You also have the option of adding colored elastics for a more unique and colorful smile.
Your braces will be attached quickly and easily to your teeth. It is a good idea to wait several hours after getting braces before eating solid food. You may find it easier to eat soft foods for the first couple of days while you are becoming accustomed to eating with your new braces. The braces may feel a little awkward at first and the teeth may be tender or sensitive to pressure.
Now that you have braces, your teeth are more difficult to clean, so you have to be very careful to keep those new braces clean. You should brush your teeth properly after every meal and snack. Always keep your toothbrush handy, you should even be brushing at school or work after lunch. You will also need to replace your toothbrush more often since the braces will make it wear out quicker.

Wait time is ridiculous. You wait anywhere from 45-1hr just to be seated on a chair. Then orthodontic takes really long to even look at you so you are there another 30-45 minutes. My son brackets are always falling off, Bad experience going on two years and would never refer anyone. You pay for the type of service you get. She very rude to patients.
