Jan Edwards, M.Ac., L.Ac., is the founder and director of the Essential Wellness Centre. A member of the class of 1996, she received a Master of Acupuncture Degree from Tai Sophia and a BA with honors in English & French from the University of MD. Tai Sophia is one of the oldest acupuncture schools in the US and provides the highest level of acupuncture training available which includes Five Element, TCM, Japanese and Korean techniques.

NIH reported findings in 1997 that said that Acupuncture is a safe, effective method to reduce or eliminate pain.
