I have been processing mortgage loans since 1988. I started my company, NorthStar Loan Processing Services in 2007 when I saw the need for contract processing in a business that can be very frustrating and challenging. At the time I started NSLPS, mortgage brokers did not want to have the overhead of hiring, training and employing full time loan processors anymore.
With technology making huge strides in our industry, we were able to transition the loan process into going completely paperless. By doing this, the need for onsite processors became a thing of the past for many small offices. Loan Officers could work from their homes and omit their excessive overhead fees.
