Watch out for this gym! My boyfriend had a membership. He recently moved in with me, out of state and far away from the gym, so he wanted to cancel it. They told him he needed a letter sent by certified mail in order to have his membership canceled. He sent one, and has certification it arrived on October 14th. He is STILL being charged for the membership. The first time he called, he was told the owner needed to approve it and then it would be cancelled. The next time he was told there was an issue with the memberships but it was being taken care of and would be resolved soon. He just called again

My wife used this gym for personal training to get in shape for our wedding. When we returned from our honeymoon we had $1,082 in charges to our credit card from Smithfield Fitness… (YES $1,082) When she contacted them to rectify the situation they told her that she has 16 training sessions that she can use but they will not refund her or cancel her membership. How is this legal? Please do yourself a favor and avoid this business.

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality
If you're looking for a gym that has something for everyone, and all fitness levels this is place for you! I just participated in a great challenge called Exhausted to Energized. The amount of support from the Trainers and other Participants was overwhelming. Definitely check them out, join, and participate in the challenges!

The gym itself is very nice. its small & private, & the staff is very nice. but I wouldn't recommend the 6 week challenge. it needs some help especiallyfor the money you are being charged!!! there was no communication & it was extremely difficult to get ahold of someone when I had questions or concerns. my work schedule is EXTREMELY busy & no one kept in contact with me about weekly check ins. I paid at lot of money for a personal trainer & a personal nutrition plan with meal plan containers & a nutritionist zoom call/meeting. I just recieved my containers days before the challenge ended & never

Do yourself a favor and save yourself a headache , do not sign up for this gym.
As far as the gym itself, the facility is decent. Good equipment, smaller than your average gym. The men's locker room is a bit dated and could use an upgrade. They have old lockers like the ones I had in middle school and a handful didn't seem to work all that great. The showers are ok, there is no place to put your soap, so plan on leaving it on the ground if you plan on showering there.
Now on to how this place is run... I signed up membership in February 2020, the basic plan , $35 a month. Then COVID hit and the
