Our office is located in the Saw Mill Village Complex across the street from Walgreens. The Saw Mill Village has been in Cottonwood since 1971 and has had a dental office there since it was built. Our treatments rooms come with state of the art technology. In our office we do everything digitally; x-rays, charting, and scheduling appointments.
Your first visit to Mackey Family Dentistry will include a comprehensive dental exam, x-rays, and if you are experiencing pain we will focus the exam to make you comfortable. We consider your first visit a chance for us to get to know you, your past dental experiences and your dental goals. We also consider your first visit a time for you to get to know us.

After experiencing pain with a problem wisdom tooth Mackey Family Dentistry was able to get me in same day for an evaluation. After X-ray, they worked me in and extracted the tooth same day! Rates were more than fair, and the dentist and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Look no further, this is the place to go!

I am new to this office and was nervous about switching because I have had bad experiences in the past. Both my son and I had great hygienists (sorry I can't remember their names). There was one misunderstanding about what x-rays were needed and covered by my insurance. In the past I've been brushed off, handed a bill and then told to follow-up with my insurance. Not here! Roxanne went out of her way to explain my benefits to me. Exceptional service!

I'm so glad I called this office! I was looking to establish new dental care after moving. Every other office I called in Cottonwood (I called all of them I think) required two separate visits for a new patient: one for the initial exam, and then a separate appointment for any cleaning (plus another visit if I needed a filling). The offices were adamantly unwilling to combine the appointments. The amount of my time required for 2 separate visits was super frustrating to me (getting out of work, driving there, waiting, etc). My daughter had a severe tooth ache so I reached out to the office and they were able to squeeze us in that day and even offered to complete treatment same day. As scary as the dental office can be for children they were very comforting and patient with her. Dr. Mackey explained everything to us as well as answered any questions or concerns we had. Needless to say my daughter wouldn't mind going back again.

We've been seeing Dr. Mackey for about a year now. We are really happy with his office staff and professional care. My kids love going to get their teeth checked out and cleaned. I recently decided to finally quit dealing with my teeth problems and get dentures. I was always so frightened of the process and getting all of the extractions. Dr. Mackey was kind, thoughtful, considerate,… caring and extremely thorough during the process and today I actually got the new dentures. After about an hour of performing minor adjustments for fit, I walked out with a new smile.
