Dr. Wu's extensive experience spans the treatment of children, adolescents and adults, so no matter if you are 7 or 77, we have just the treatment for you! Made of nickel-free high-grade steel, they are much smaller and more comfortable than those in the past. We offer a variety of colored elastics, which may be changed at most appointments.

My son started this journey a year and 7 months ago with Dr. Wu.
Before moving into the area and meeting Dr. Wu I didn’t know the severity of my sons condition. I was told he would grow into his underbite and he’ll need braces but not soon. He’ll be fine. (That’s all I was told he had)
I was referred to him by Columbia Pediatric Dentistry, and I’m glad I was. I found out there was more to his condition than what I was told initially.
He showed concerned for my son, he also answered any questions I had when it came to my son. Even throughout the pandemic I felt my son was his top priority

Dr. Wu is AMAZING! We finally got braces and couldn't be happier with our choice. Dr. Wu and staff are kind, friendly, and professional. I'm extremely impressed with the assistant (I think her name is Elisa). She was great with kids and throughly explained each step of the process. Dr. Wu was phenomenal. He was very reassuring, knowledgeable, and personable. The office was clean and modern. All staff members used pandemic precautions as well. FYI... They are not accepting phone calls at this time. All inquiries, questions, appointments etc are handled via email (they respond quickly so

Here is my story. I have always had horribly crooked teeth and finally when I had enough money to get braces I started with my Dentist who advised that my teeth could be corrected using a product called Clear Correct which is a brand or teeth straightening aligners like Invisalign. The process was supposed to only take 1 year; however, after 3 years and multiple corrections my teeth were still not straight. After the retirement of Dentist and acquisition of a new one I was referred to Dr. Wu of NuSmiles Orthodontics who told me the truth about my case. He said that I should have never been placed

I cannot recommend Dr. Wu or his staff enough. I had severely misaligned lower teeth, with one of my canines jutting forward and even cutting my lip. Correcting this required removal of one of my premolars, meaning that Dr. Wu and his staff had to not only straighten my teeth but also close a large gap in my smile. Throughout this process, Dr. Wu and his staff were kind, thoughtful, and informative. I always understood where we were in the process and what was coming next. Today, not only is my smile vastly improved, but it would be impossible for a casual observer to even notice I was missing

Fantastic! One of the best experiences I’ve had over the past 4 years with my braces. They are all super nice and very welcoming. They have helped me with my braces treatment over my high school experience, and made it so easy for me to feel comfortable and progress made. I'm basing this review off two visits. The 1st would have definitely been a 5 star. Dr. Wu really took the time to work with us and make sure we understood everything and all the options.
The 2nd visit would be zero. Dr. Wu would not take the time to explain options, what anything meant and would only use medical terms and would not explain or discuss options or the situation. Had a feeling that we were more a bother to him than anything else and he wasn't even willing to entertain discussing options with us. Seemed to only worry about the finical aspect rather than the health aspect

Dr. Wu and his staff are excellent at what they do! From the very beginning with the consultation Dr. Wu was incredibly kind and helpful. He answered all of my questions and concerns. He really listens (let's be honest this is a rarity in the medical world!) and is extremely patient. His entire staff is so friendly and helpful! It really makes a difference. The facility is clean, bright, and fun! I am so happy to have found this orthodontist office!
