If the staffing company you use does not carry professional liability insurance, you may be held liable for theft or damages caused by their staff while working for you. In addition, make sure that your staffing agency does not just provide a certificate or a declarations page. You should receive a certificate of coverage from their insurance company, assuring you that you will be notified if their coverage lapses.

However, the pay period is from Sunday through Saturday, so you can enter any one day from a week, and that pay date will apply to any shifts worked that week.
