Arrived for emergency at 05:40 and was turned away. I understand having a capacity limit or being overwhelmed, but it does not look good when there are 0 cars in the parking lot and no patients in sight. Very clear staffing shortages. Person on site would not offer triage or any help at all for ‘up to 3 hours’

We showed up at midnight the other week and I want to compliment their receptionist!
She was wonderful!
They had a 3-hr wait but she came out and double checked on our dog and provided outstanding customer care. Made us feel important. I hope they appreciate her. You don't see to many people giving extra good customer service that often and when I do-I want to compliment!! We will be back -if needed. Thank youi.

We brought her 20-year-old cat in here as she was having a medical emergency. The doctor and staff were very compassionate and treated our cat like it was a member of our family not just a pet they do not try to convince you to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars in medical procedures that would not change the outcome of the event or give the animal a better quality of life. They do but money was never brought up as an issue. So refreshing to find a practice that puts patients in their family before their pockets

They took wonderful care of my kitty, Pablo. He ended up chewing on a dog bone and it really upset his tummy. I was, of course, scared something could be really wrong with my furbaby.They were thorough about ways to treat his tummy problem and after some horrible experiences with other vets elsewhere, I felt I was safe leaving my precious baby with Uptown. Pablo and I say thank you!

Uptown animal hospital is by far the best hospital that we have ever worked with! All the doctor's and staff were so friendly and so informative. This was the only hospital that could get our sick dog into. I'm so thankful for them and everything they did. Our dog August was touch and go for a few days and we weren't sure if she was going to make it but they did everything they could and she is now back home with us. I highly recommend this vet to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much for everything you guys did!

Uptown animal hospital took wonderful care of our boy George. If it wasn’t for the quality and intensive care provided here he would have died from Parvo. Both our regular vet and a large breed specialist reviewed George’s records and said they did everything possible and perfectly to save our dogs life. Our bill wasn’t cheap but it was worth every penny and Uptown did everything they could to help us finance his care and helped find the outside resources we needed immediately. My anxiety was through the roof during George’s stay at the vet and the front desk staff was patient and caring

My cat had to be hospitalized and stay over night in the ER at Uptown. It was such a scary moment when I realized I had to take him in because most ER's are at capacity and not taking in any more emergency cases. My cat ran a fever of 105.5F and I called 3 closer ER hospitals, no one was able to get him in. I work in the field and understand how busy it has been but in an emergency situation you become desperate to help your pet. I was soooo thankful when they told me they would take him and understood how urgent this was. They recommended reasonable treatments and diagnostics and he is home now

It’s never a good day when you have to rush your furbaby to the emergency clinic but I am so grateful to know they are there! We are brand new to the area and I didn’t know where to turn after one of my babies got into a disagreement with her sister. Uptown emergency was there to patch her back up and took amazing care of her. Kiki can sometimes be a diva and to hear she was giving out tail wags (even when she was painful) was extremely reassuring that we came to the right place.
