Services
No one enters this career field without a serious love of pets. While the definition of "pet" may differ, we wish to match your dedication to the many pets you bring to Union Avenue Veterinary Hospital. Union Ave Veterinary Hospital is prepared to a full range of soft tissue surgeries including but not limited to spay, neuter, removal of unwanted growths (and prepare cytologies), and exploratory procedures.
Rayna's household currently has 5 Doggos and 7 Cats. She has worked in this field for 19 years, and has been in Washington for 8 of those. She loves taking care of animals and has done it for half her life. Love to travel and camp out at the lakes, while enjoying all that the outdoors has to offer and taking the dogs to the river.
The basis of all good medicine begins with the examination. While everyone at Union Avenue Veterinary Hospital is a true animal lover and want to help every pet in need, we are bound by many federal and state laws. Thus, the need to schedule your pet for an appointment before offering any medical advice or treatment.
Here you'll find everything you need about Union Ave Veterinary Hospital and how we can help you. We have online forms for everything related to our Tacoma veterinary clinic, resources and information about what to expect on your visit. If you're thinking of getting a pet fish, you should know that your veterinarian has a lot of good advice about pet ownership.
We hope to make you comfortable and feel at ease in order to make your pet's visit as stress free as possible. If you are new to Jones Animal Hospital, we will need some information from you and about your pet. Please feel free to print and fill out our Welcome Form so that we can spend more time with your pet.

I highly recommend Union avenue veterinary! They have continually provided care to all of my 4 legged children, in particular our cat Orion! Orion was diagnosed with cancer last year and has been receiving his chemo treatment (pills administration) from the compassionate caring staff from union avenue veterinary as my son and I would rather have the trained staff there administer the treatment for us as we would prefer not to break the circle of trust with Orion! Thank you so much for everything you do for our furry family!!

They really have a well organized system for taking care of animals here. We’ve taken our dogs here to be cared for , to get their shots and do all the routine medical maintenance for a decade now. Caring doctors and staff who really love animals. Currently to encourage social distancing in their small office you will be asked to wait in your car while you’re waiting to be seen and while you’re waiting for your animal to be seen.

They were able to save my puppy Piper's life when no one was able to get us in during the middle of coronavirus. Based on her described symptoms, they knew the urgency and saw her despite it being very busy due to so many people adopting pets. They saw her everyday for over a week to get her the hydration and care she needed. I can say for certain my dog would not have made it if it weren't for the wonderful staff and vet that went above and BEYOND. Now she's all grown up, alive and thriving, and I am forever grateful!
