Regular exams and cleanings can prevent advanced stages of tooth decay and gum disease, while procedures such as sealants and fluoride treatments can stop some dental issues before they have a chance to develop.
Periodontal disease, or gum disease, is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults. In fact, according to a recent finding by the CDC, 47.2% of adults 30 years or older have some degree of the disease, whether mild, moderate or severe. At Trolley Dental Care, we believe that detection and treatment of gum disease is vital to protecting the health of your mouth and your body.
