Dr. Ehsan Karimian had both his orthodontic and dental training in the Bay Area. He received his orthodontic specialty training at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. He also attended UCSF School of Dentistry in San Francisco for his dental training where he graduated with honors. During those years he fell in love with Marin County and all it has to offer.

During your first orthodontic visit, we would like to get to know you and find out more about your specific concerns and expectations. Orthodontic diagnostic record is an evaluation and diagnostic tool that Drs. Karimian and Boero use to determine the patients orthodontic needs. The diagnostic records provide a wealth of information that is not always revealed by a visual clinical examination.
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. We will gladly help you file your insurance claims to ensure you receive your maximum orthodontic benefits. We participate with many insurance carriers. To ensure the benefits are received as soon as possible, there are certain details we must make sure all parties take care of.

I really appreciate all of the detail Dr.k puts into my treatment. He answers all my questions and is patient with me as I do get a little nervous at the dentist. The staff is wonderful as well! They get pretty busy but they always spend the necessary time to make certain everything is done correct.

I had braces for about 4 years and the whole time I was seen by Dr.Griffin. Such a friendly and kind dentist. At the time my braces were coming off they brought in Dr.K and this is where the dentist office took a turn for the worst. From the moment I got my braces off and was given retainers I was assigned to Dr.K who would make my experience there just terrible. Every appointment with Dr.K would consist of me going to the office and waiting 10-15 minutes just to sit in the chair for what felt like seconds. I took my son here to get treatment. They said it was 2 phases. They charged me almost 5,000 dollars for phase 1 and his teeth were not improved whatsoever. I went to a different orthodontist to receive treatment for phase 2 and it was so much cheaper and higher quality service. The new orthodontist also gave me a discount based on the severity of my son’s case. The new orthodontist notified me that there was not 2 phases needed. The orthodontist at the new office takes his time on patients and listens to concerns. Please find another orthodontist in Marin
