My experience at this salon was unsatisfactory. Although I specified that I was getting a men's haircut despite being a woman, they didn't have Ish cut my hair, but instead the woman. I was afraid because of all the positive reviews specifically mention Ish and nearly all the negative mention the woman.
I prepared about 15 pictures of two different hairstyles because I wanted to see what the stylist recommended for my hair. She didn't even let me show her the pictures nor did she even take my hair out of the ponytail to give her best judgment. She was very blasé and just said "It doesn't matter

Very good and fast. Shop is an old time barber shop. Frank Sinatra singing in the background and old posters of 'pick your hair style' . I got and excellent haircut and he turned my beard from looking like I sleep under a bride abutment to making me quite presentable. Decent price AND open on Mondays

I moved to town in April and happened to find out about Ish's from Yelp, coincidentally. I've gone to him several times since then, and have always been pleased. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and knows how to cut your hair the way you want it, even when you're not that good at describing it yourself. You can go in for a neck trim in between haircuts too and he will only charge half price, which helps me because the fuzz on the back of my neck can get out of control rather quickly.

I've been getting my hair cut by Ish since the early 1990s. Ish does a great job everytime and knows how I like my cuts. I've changed my hairstyles over the years and Ish has given me great flat tops, crew cuts, and regular men's cuts. The service is friendly and personable. Ish always asks me how my family is doing.
I STILL make the long drive crossing over 2 state lines just so Ish can cut my hair.
NOTE: If there is a wait, I will wait for Ish to be done with another customer instead of having a female hairdresser cut my hair. This is a personal decision to make sure the haircut
