Great Lakes Physical Therapy
We are at the forefront of evidenced-based physical therapy and promise to provide you with the very best care. To those of you who have experienced the care we provide, we thank you very much. To those of you who are new to us, welcome. Let us take care of you. Dry needling is a safe physical modality utilizing a thin filiform 'acupuncture' needle, used to ultimately reduce pain and disability, and enhance the healing process.

Spinal manipulation is a skilled manual therapy technique that involves quick movements in a small range of motion with subsequent cavitations of the spinal joints resulting in reduction in pain. The treatment principles promote the body's potential to repair itself and allows patients to learn principles which empower them to be in control of their own symptom management.

Spinal manipulation is a skilled manual therapy technique that involves quick movements in a small range of motion (high velocity low amplitude HVLA) with subsequent cavitations or 'cracking/popping' of the spinal joints resulting in rapid reduction in pain and improvement in motion.

Spinal manipulations (AKA adjustments) have been demonstrated, with recent research, to have superior outcomes in pain and disability (improved ROM/function) when compared to traditional treatments. The current best practice for treating neuro-musculo-skeletal dysfunction is a combination of dry needling and spinal manipulation.
What is manual therapy? The term "manual therapy" refers to hands-on treatment of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints. Human touch is essential to our treatment philosophy and approach. Why manual therapy? The answer is simple - it's proven to be the most effective form of therapy when combined with therapeutic exercises and/or dry needling.

Amazing, compassionate staff whom go above and beyond to help out their clients. I wasn't sold on the idea of physical therapy, but Jamie has been a god-send for my chronic ankle pain. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a positive physical therapy experience.

I have been having odd pain that took numerous physicians to locate. Once they located my pain and injury I was given a choice of cortisone shot, surgery or physical therapy. In 4 weeks of treatment at Great Lakes Therapy I had improvement, in 10 weeks I had 95% recovery. In every session with each physical therapist (I have seen 4 over my treatment) I was treated with kindness, compassion and sensitivity. They listened, educated and treated my injury. I will go no where else. The staff from the receptionist on in has been exceptional from my first to my last appointment. Kindness is the culture

This has been a great place to go for therapy. I have been fortunate to work with most of the staff and have been more than happy with the service I have received. Everyone has taken the time to get to know me, my issues and goals. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs physical therapy, dry needling and cupping.

I have been getting care from the wonderful therapists at Great Lakes PT for close to a year for chronic pain. They are kind and professional, always involving me in the direction my treatment would take, advising me but always listing to me about what seems to work best. Their therapists are highly educated, and offer a wide variety of treatments. Thanks to them, I’m able to lead a more normal life!

After many doctors, chiropractors and massage therapist trying to treat my neck and shoulder problem, I insisted that my doctor send me to physical therapy. I am grateful I went to Great Lake PT as they diagnosed correctly (whereas no one else had!) and treated it to full recovery! This issue had become chronic as I was on a wild goose chase with others in the healing/medical modalities so it took longer for Jeff and the other therapist to bring everything back in balance, but they did! I'm so grateful. Everyone at GLPT is competent, professional, friendly and knows how to put the body back together

This place is completely terrible. I missed my appointment on accident and after I called in almost tears, Jill the secretary was rude and made snarky comments to me and said that she couldn't get me in for over a week. So, I called another PT place, and the lady there was way nicer. Good Luck GLPT, you're losing customers.
