As of 2010, Biological & Environmental Consulting is the contracted firm for all District 1 Nevada Department of Transportation environmental compliance. For NDOT and a variety of other clients, B & E Consulting has worked on over 40 projects throughout the Mojave & Great Basin deserts.
Kyle Canyon Road, FHWA: B & E provides biological monitoring & mitigation services for a 10 mile section of desert tortoise habitat on a highway improvement project; 11 desert tortoises have been observed so far, with 3 being relocated out of harm's way.

B & E Consulting is always looking for qualified field biologists to add to our growing firm. Biologists must have a degree in biology, ecology, environmental science or a closely related field. No prior field experience is required, although it is preferred. Demonstrated ability to walk up to 10 miles a day in extreme environmental conditions, especially in heat up to 110°F.
