Allergen note: many menu items contain or come into contact with gluten, tree nuts, eggs, fish and dairy products. While we have procedures to minimize cross contamination, we cannot guarantee that all items are free of allergens. Ten of the biggest wings we can find, tossed in your choice of sauce, served with bleu cheese and french fries.
At McArdle's, we also offer off-site catering for any special occasion. We offer a diverse menu of fresh, authentic food to satisfy every appetite, with the option to pick up your catering order or enjoy our full-catering service, including everything from setup to cleanup. All you have to do is enjoy the party and leave everything to us!

Played tennis across the street with a couple of friends. Then walked across for dinner. Fish fry was huge and the Reuben was spot on!! Had to wait 15 mins for they were really busy. management stopped by to check on us every few minutes while we waited, I liked that. Coming back for the Irish Stew next time

The food was great. The outdoor seating was very uncomfortable. So much so had to ask for indoor chairs to be brought out. Management should get some cushions.
Service was very nice people with poor memory. Had to ask for everything twice. We appreciate the effort. They seemed fully staffed for a Wednesday night with full patio.

I wanted some comfort food and boy did I find the right place! I got the pot roast with mashed potatoes and a side of broccoli. The pot roast tastes amazing, the mashed potatoes are cooked perfectly and the broccoli had that steamed crunch that we all love. Sam was my server and she was very attentive as well as all the staff. If you're looking for a place that's going to take care of you like grandma used to, this is the place.

Came in on a Thursday 5pm and was seated right away inside. They have an outside option for seating too. We ordered drinks and I had the McArdles Spiked Rum Punch and my bf had a nonalcoholic mix of tea and lemonade.
We put in our order and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. It was refreshing to have such a nice waiter (shout out to Sydney!!)
I ordered the turkey rueben with chips and my bf got the fish fry. Both came out of the kitchen within 10 minutes but sadly the fish fry was black underneath. (The oil needs to be changed :/) sent it back and the came back with another fry quickly

We moved to Fairport about a year ago, so, until today, we had only gotten takeout from here. The food was delicious each time. We especially like the turkey Reuben and the sweet potato fries. Today I can comment on the service. We were warmly welcomed, even though we were wearing bicycling clothes. They offered to move an outdoor table into the shade for us-- much appreciated. The server refilled our iced teas proactively. Each staff member we encountered was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

Nothing inherently good or bad on this trip... not a lot has changed in the many (4+) years since my family has dined here. The hostess was a bit frazzled, the wait to be seated was around 20 minutes, our waitress was mostly nowhere to be found, but the fish fry was good. Our ticket was $80 (plus tip) for a family of 3 so that seems a bit much for the quality but we wanted haddock... Probably won't be back anytime in the near future.

Love the service. They are not stuffy but friendly and attentive. The owner is also very present and loves to talk to the customers. He has a wonderful personality, and all the staff were smiling and happy. At least during my visits, that has always been consistent.

Beer battered- the batter had a wonderful flavor, and was not soggy even 2 hours after picking up
Breaded - wonderfully crispy outside! Big chunks of breading gave a great texture and a thick outer crunch. Fish- was super fresh and flaky inside. We had haddock, but cod is available on Fridays.
Sides: cole slaw had too much sugar for our preference. If you like sweet slaw, you'll love it. Fries were soft by the time we ate 2 hours after pickup.
Value: for $17.50 we were expecting larger portions (both of fish and fries). I could tell as soon as I carried out

My sister and I have visited now 3 times since Covid. I feel very safe, they are following the guidelines . The food was incredible, lobster pizza, bourbon bacon cheeseburger was to die for. The fish fry on Fridays is delish!!! The owner John and the waitresses were attentive and very professional. It was the closest thing to normal in this time of abnormal..Highly recommend!!!!!

I remember going to McArdle's years ago and for some reason never going back so when my boyfriend showed me some photos of their Chicken French that looked amazing we decided to try it- boy was that a mistake! The chicken was rubbery, overcooked with a batter that was both burnt,and if you can believe it, also had large amounts of uncooked egg as well. Everything just tasted burnt.
The broccoli was the same way- brown and overcooked

Took a client here for a salad and while they were very happy with the pecan encrusted chicken I was not satisfied with my salad. I asked that the steak be well done and received med rare which I will not eat. Not willing to make a scene complaining so I boxed it to go and my husband enjoyed instead.

This place was decent! Plenty of parking in the back. The dining room inside is large, and they have an old patio section and a new. My friend and I were sat in the front new patio.
Friendly service. The veggie burger I had was fine. Nothing amazing. The fries fries were also decent. The drinks were a little too sweet for my taste. My friend and I also shared the grilled garlic panini bread minus the cheese and marinara. Now that was good! Something I need to learn to make at home.
Overall, fine experience!
