The Fulton School
The Fulton School is an independent school founded in 1987 on a 16 acre campus in Heath, Texas. Our diverse student body consists of students spanning preschool (ages 2-5) through 5th grade. In 1987, Suzanne Nash and Norma Morris founded The Fulton School, selecting Dr. Bernard Fulton (1910-2009) as the school's namesake.

Dr. Fulton's work in Dallas began in the late 1930's at Texas Country Day School, now St. Marks, where he served as Assistant Headmaster, Military Commandant, teacher, and coach for 13 years. Computer Programming and Engineering (STEM focus), Grade placement based on aptitude, Challenging Curriculum for Gifted & Talented Students, Small Class Sizes (Max of 15 per Classroom), Nutrition Program, 100% Graduation Rate, 100% College Acceptance Rate.

With the ongoing issues with testing and bullying, we were struggling with the idea of sending our son to public school, but we weren't sure we could afford private school. Some of our closest friends are public school teachers and many were frustrated with their class sizes, administration and lack of parental involvement. The administration seemed to be more concerned about test scores and passing the students than truly educating the students. It seemed as if the good teacher's had their hands tied to the point it stifled and frustrated them as they tried to manage overcrowded class
