I have purchased multiple homes in San Diego and for each one I have partnered with Miguel. I truly believe Miguel knows San Diego better than anyone I have met, he spends countless hours studying the market, economy, trends, and other critical factors when purchasing a home or investment property. He is like a one stop shop as he has a great network of people (loan officers, contractors, architects, movers, etc.) that are all equally amazing and helpful. We were referred to Miguel from our re-financier and we were extremely happy to be connected with such a professional real estate agent. We lived in the Spring Valley area and initially after the open house we were able to agree with an offer higher than the list price. However, the homes built during the 1960's in this particular area had a slight slope on the foundation which caused our first buyer to cancel the agreement after the home inspection. We met Miguel through our lender who highly recommended him, he had lived in our area for years and made made us feel so comfortable that we picked him out of 4 agents we met(including a family friend). We sold my in-laws residence, where they lived for 30 years. I bought my house though Miguel Contreras. I was a special case and needed to get into a house ASAP. We looked at a couple dozen houses (I think at least 22 in person). I knew South Bay San Diego fairly well, but it was nice to know that Miguel could answer my questions. For instance, reputations of elementary schools, community, quiet vs loud neighborhoods, over priced houses, repair costs, etc.
